Police Broke into Ms. Wen Huimin's House and Arrested Her

(Clearwisdom.net) At around 12:00 p.m. on July 9, 2007, Liu Junqi (male), director of the Chengdong Township Police Station in Boye County of the Baoding Prefecture in Hebei Province, with over 10 police officers from the Boye County Police Department and the Baoding City National Security Team, broke into Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Wen Huimin's house in Chengdong Village, Chengdong Township, Boye County. Ms. Wen tried to protect herself and barred the door. Police smashed the glass in the door and broke into the house.

Liu Junqi grabbed Ms. Wen around the neck with his hands when he came into the house and almost strangled her. Ms. Wen's sister-in-law got angry and asked, "Do you want to kill her? You are ruffians!" This made them stop.

When Ms. Wen's father-in-law, who is nearly 80 years old and unwell, saw the police were arresting his daughter-in-law, he cried out, "What crime has she committed? You are a gang of bandits!" At the same time, the old man got into the police vehicle himself as a form of protest. Several officers dragged the old man out of the car, dragged Ms. Wen into the car, and left.

The rest of police officers started searching the house from inside out. They even searched the barn. They searched every ear of corn and confiscated around 800 yuan in cash at her house. They also took away a notebook computer, a printer, Dafa books, copies of the Nine Commentaries, and other truth-clarifying materials. These items were recorded with a video camera.

One or two days later, Ms. Wen Huimin was sentenced to one and a half years of forced labor. She was quickly taken to the No. 5 Ward of Shijiazhuang Labor Camp.
