Mr. Xu Feng and Mr. Tang Zhaoyu Sentenced to Long Prison Terms


(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Dafa practitioners Mr. Xu Feng and Mr. Tang Zhaoyu from Jiaoling County, Meizhou City in Guangdong Province were arrested by agents of the Jiaoling County 610 Office on October 25, 2006. They were tortured for several months. On March 13, 2007, an open session was held at the Jiaoling County Court. Mr. Tang Zhaoyu was sentenced to eight and a half years in prison. At 9 a.m. on April 10, 2007, Mr. Xu Feng was tried at the Jiaoling County Court. Only four of Mr. Xu's colleagues, his parents were present at the trial. His his wife, who is also a practitioner, and ther people were kept from entering by the directors of the Jiaoling County 610 Office Qiu Jianxiang and Qiu Xinqiang. The verdict was given on May 9, 2007 and Mr. Xu was sentenced to nine years in prison. Without any advanced notice, a second trial was held on June 19, 2007 and concluded quickly. The previous verdict was upheld.

Mr. Xu Feng and Mr. Tang Zhaoyu are detained at the Jiaoling County Detention Center.
