Taipei, Taiwan: Practitioners' Efforts to End the Persecution Highlighted during July 20 Activities (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) On July 21, 2007, Falun Gong practitioners held a candlelight vigil, a parade led by the Divine Land Marching Band, and an exercise demonstration in Chong He Park.

"Practitioners Know If The Exercise Is Good."

Mr. Ma (pseudonym) said that many CCP officials practiced Falun Gong before the persecution was launched. The more the CCP suppressed Falun Gong, the more it grew. Why? Because those who benefited from it know that the exercises are good, and that the persecution is wrong.

When talking about the various kinds of persecution methods the CCP has used on Falun Gong, Mr. Ma said, "The CCP will be punished."

Mr. Ma felt the comforting and soothing energy field when he sat on a bench to watch the Falun Gong exercises. He said that Falun Gong was good for health and planned to practice, as well.

All Activities Are Important

Ms. He Baohua's role in truth-clarification activities is to do make-up for others. It sounds like an menial task, but after her explanation, the reporter realized it was very important.

A woman Falun Gong practitioner who hosts a children's TV program on NTDTV flew from Taiwan to the U.S. to make a video program. However, the footage couldn't be used because of the makeup. The beautician put on a type of makeup on her that was completely different from makeup for TV programs. It stood out so much that the video couldn't be used.

Ms. He takes every opportunity to learn from professional beauticians. Four days a week, she commutes for three hours to the studio to put on makeup for the hosts of NTDTV. She buys all the makeup herself.

Ms. He also plays cymbals in the Divine Land Marching Band. She said, "This is the first time the band has participated in a July 20 parade to oppose the persecution since it was established last October. I felt the strong energy and the power of our entire group."

Seeking Truth and Entering The Gate of Falun Dafa

Ms. Lin Yilian is an employee of a court. She has been practicing Falun Gong for eleven years. When she was introduced to the book Zhuan Falun, she read it through the night and experienced many things mentioned in the book during her own cultivation.

Ms. Lin has participated in many truth-clarification activities. She said the Chinese people had been terribly deceived by the lies of the CCP. They didn't know what was going on overseas. They were shocked to hear that Falun Gong had received many awards overseas.

Ms. Lin said, "We do our best to tell the Chinese people about the persecution of Falun Gong in China." Though not good with computers, Ms. Lin studied computer science so that she could help other practitioners. She also encouraged other women practitioners in her neighborhood to participate in truth-clarification activities and helped new practitioners with their questions.
