Seeing Through the Interference and Passing Every Test with Righteous Thoughts
By a practitioner from Neili, Taiwan
(Clearwisdom.net) In order to effectively clarify the truth, we applied for a
mailbox to use especially for truth-clarification work. Besides regularly
sending telephone scripts, important information, and Minghui articles to the
mailbox, we also organized our Fa study and reciting the Fa. We hope
to strengthen our righteous thoughts, effectively clarify the truth, and
eliminate the evil based on studying the Fa well. Our telephone group
practitioners have coordinated with each other as a whole, and encouraged more
and more practitioners to make phone calls. But this month, something happened
in our telephone group. In our telephone group experience sharing meeting, practitioner A introduced
a gentleman. This gentleman said he wanted to know more about Falun Gong. But we
found that his motive was not pure based on his language and behavior. For
security reasons, we recommended that practitioner A not bring this new
practitioner of unknown status into our group. We suggested that he have the new
practitioner view the nine-day lecture series first to have a basic
understanding of Dafa. Then we could consider letting him participate in the
truth-clarifying work. But afterwards this gentleman did something which brought much interference
to our group. The manner and attitude with which we handled this situation
affected practitioner A and caused a misunderstanding with other practitioners.
He started to distrust our phone calls and did not want to come to make phone
calls. He also said some very negative things. I realized that his unsound
status was a big test for our telephone group. It was a test of our cultivation
environment and status, our trust between practitioners, and our righteous
thoughts and righteous faith in the Fa. So we spent a lot of time sharing our
experiences. But after every sharing, we had failed to eliminate the
misunderstanding with practitioner A and instead created new conflicts. Practitioner A was the first to start making phone calls to expose the
persecution cases in our area. He did not have any fear when making phone calls,
and he encouraged other practitioners to make phone calls, too. His unsound
status was definitely because the evil was taking advantage of us, but I could
not figure out the nature of his gap. After I shared with other practitioners, I
concluded that he did not study the Fa well, as he did not join the Fa-study and
experience sharing conferences frequently due to family reasons. After coming to
this conclusion, I still felt that this was not the key. So each time we made
phone calls together, I always spent time discussing the situation with others.
Eventually, practitioner B reminded me, "I feel that we have walked the
path arranged by the old forces. We should use the time to make phone calls.
Instead, we spend a lot of time discussing one practitioner's problem and delay
the very important task of clarifying the truth and saving sentient beings. Are
we being taken advantage by the old forces?" Yes, she was right. The real
gap was that all of our hearts were affected by this. So we no longer hesitated. We immediately made phone calls and started to
clarify the truth. No matter what happened, we did not delay the most important
task of saving sentient beings. We drew the conclusion that as long as we walked
the righteous path, everything unrighteous would be corrected. After we made our hearts righteous, it was as if nothing had ever happened
with practitioner A. He continued to participate in the group phone calling and
continued to encourage other practitioners to make phone calls. He also helped a
few CCP officials from the 610 Office and National Security Team to
withdraw from the CCP. The officials even told us that there were some people in
the 610 Office practicing Falun Gong. The officials also asked him how to pass
the tribulation of pain when sitting cross-legged. We were all very touched. This situation that affected our telephone group was not only a test to our
whole body, but also let me see through the attachment of myself, which is
selfishness. This is also a gap in me. Because I'm a coordinator in our area,
when this thing happened, I always thought about solving the problem. I spent
time sharing with practitioners every time. I used the excuse of improving the
whole body, but deep inside my standpoint was selfishness. There is a line
between "improving the whole body" and "solving the
problem." Since my standpoint was wrong and my heart was not righteous, we
immediately had the gap. Cultivation is really very serious. June 19, 2007 |
