My Understandings after Reading a Fellow Practitioner's Article

(Clearwisdom.net) Recently, I read a fellow practitioner's article again, "After Reading 'Thoroughly Dissolve the Evil'" ( http://www.clearwisdom.net/emh/articles/2006/12/19/80984.html ) This time, I had a new understanding about the article's meanings. We practitioners always talk about denying the old forces' arrangement and eliminating the evil. However, where we are unable to let go of our human desires, either unknowingly or knowingly (with reluctance to give them up), that is where the evil is able to hide. Our practitioners themselves are providing the greenhouses and worm shelters that foster the evil. Our hearts create all that has happened in ordinary people's society. In fact, Teacher has already eradicated the cosmos' evil and rectified the cosmic body outside of the Three Realms. The new cosmos is infinitely wonderful. We are the ones that are falling short of the requirements of the new cosmos!

Teacher said that every one of us is a particle of Dafa, so is it only our individual situations if we don't do well? Countless gods in the cosmos are watching us. We also always say that we must validate the Fa. So reflecting Dafa's wonderfulness with pure actions according to the principles of the Fa and manifesting Dafa's wonderfulness to gods and sentient beings is every practitioner's sacred responsibility. Therefore, whenever we lose our righteous thoughts and are controlled by our notions, whenever we let our human attachments go wild, and when we become apathetic, are we merely facing our own personal loss and gain? Haven't we provided spaces for the old forces and evil to enter? We allow them freely to get in and out of our unrighteous and impure spaces. Aren't we providing walls of protection for their survival? Aren't we in fact delaying the progress of Fa-rectification? After realizing this, it is really terrifying. This made me deeply realize how important and urgent it is that we assimilate ourselves to Dafa and make our each and every thought and action be responsible to the Fa, instead of continuing to think of our own loss and gain in our individual cultivation!

I also looked inside. I once had a question in my heart: "Why has Fa-rectification lasted so long?" I know now that one reason the Fa rectification has lasted so long is because of my own negative contributions. As I write these understandings, I cannot stop my tears from falling down. I am so grateful for Teacher's great mercy and immeasurable wisdom, and I also regret my own selfishness and inability to enlighten to these truths.

I discovered a fact a long time ago: Whenever I have a question about the Fa, it is a signal that it is time for me to improve. Each time after I improved myself and was able to understand the question, I knew that it was all caused by my low xinxing level and my narrow mind. Therefore, I could not have had that much compassion and unselfishness, and I certainly could not have had that much wisdom and tolerance. I was unable to fully understand Teacher's great immeasurable compassion and holiness. Each time I gradually improved myself, I was astonished by Teacher's benevolence, and I felt Teacher's greatness and sanctity. I could sense the wonderfulness of sentient beings assimilating to the Fa at different levels, obtaining infinite strength and confidence.
