The Good Fortune Falun Dafa Has Brought Me

(Clearwisdom.net) Dafa is boundless and our Teacher is great and compassionate. I would like to share a few experiences I have had through practicing Falun Dafa.

I am sixty-five years old. I suffered from serious arthritis in my knee for more than 30 years. My legs were weak and tender while walking. Periarthritis also made me feel cold and sore for many years. It was very difficult for me to even scratch my back and take off my clothes as I could not turn my arm backwards. After I started practicing Falun Dafa, the arthritis and periarthritis were both healed. I could even carry the workload of three families on the farm and not feel tired.

My wife often quarreled with me in the past as she had a short temper. Sometimes she wouldn't talk to me for ten to fifteen days, or even half a year. She even wanted to separate and divorce me. After she started practicing Falun Dafa, she became a totally different person. She now not only regularly looks after her three grandsons' studies, but also takes care of cooking, cleaning, feeding the pigs and all the field work. She works hard, always discusses things with me and listens to my views. Our great and compassionate Teacher saved my family.

We have had a good crop harvest every year. Even when we had a disastrous storm this July, not one roof tile was blown away nor was the crop lost. Our neighbor's crops, grown in profusion, were all blown down. This is the good fortune that Falun Dafa has brought me.

On August 17, 2005, we had a heavy thunderstorm. Our roof was leaking, so I climbed on the roof to check it. As soon as I had finished, I fell three meters to the ground. I was unconscious and was not breathing. After several hours, I woke up to the screaming of my wife and children who were around me. My daughter and son-in-law (who are not practitioners) were very frightened and worried. They took me to the hospital where they took an x-ray. The x-ray showed a broken hip bone and damaged muscles. I was put in splints and told to lay flat for 45 days. I didn't want to stay in the hospital so my family took me back home. On the sixth day, I went to the bathroom by myself on crutches. After ten days, I managed to walk with a single crutch. I could ride my bike after twenty days and do all kinds of work after one month.

Many people could not believe it. Someone asked me, "People said that you were dead from your fall. How come you are fine, and look even younger than several years ago?" I told them sincerely, "I am a practitioner of Falun Dafa. I came back to life only because my Teacher was taking care of me. Practicing Falun Dafa will bring you a great deal of blessings!"

Since then, I have become more diligent in studying the Fa and doing the exercises. I seize every opportunity to clarify the facts in order to make up the loss from previous years caused by my attachment of fear. I want to cultivate truly from my heart, apply the Dafa principles in my daily life, do the three things that Fa-rectification period Dafa disciples should do well and catch up with the pace of Fa-rectification.
