Practicing Falun Gong Is Magnificent

(Clearwisdom.net) I am a teacher at a middle school in China. When our local Dragon Boat Festival was approaching, I went to the countryside to visit my mother and my aunt who had high blood pressure and was half paralyzed.

My aunt has been in very poor health. Last winter, half of her entire body became paralyzed because of a stroke. She was unable to live by herself, and was hospitalized for over two months. A large amount of money was spent, but her physical condition did not improve. The doctors said that she was not curable.

At my aunt's door, I was surprised to see that she was walking steadily. She warmly welcomed me. I asked which "deity's" heart she had touched who gave her the panacea as a cure. She told me that last year she spent all the money she had, and had absolutely no money to buy any panacea. It was because she started to practice Falun Gong that her diseases were cured.

My aunt told me that when the persecution started in 1999, she and my uncle would not let their daughter and their in-laws practice Falun Gong. My aunt and uncle even suggested cutting all ties with them if the in-laws continued to practice. Yet, the in-laws were not angry with them, and they patiently told my aunt and uncle the truth about Falun Gong. They said how magnificent Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance were, and how they had benefited from Falun Gong mentally and physically. If everybody learned Falun Gong, the moral standard in human society would naturally rise. Aunt and uncle had nothing else to complain about to the in-laws, so they gave up and just let them go their way.

I told my aunt that I had known what she just told me. I just wanted to know what had made her regain a healthy body. She laughed and said, "Last spring when your uncle was seriously sick, your cousins (daughter and son-in-law) came to see him. They told uncle to sincerely repeat 'Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance are good. Falun Dafa is good.' Unexpectedly, as soon as he started saying that, magic happened: your uncle recovered. He even regained his normal weight after losing about 30 pounds due to the illnesses. Last winter, when I got sick, your cousins told me to practice Falun Gong, and that I should be a genuine practitioner so that all my problems would be solved. We were unable to read and write. We couldn't even write our own names, how could we learn? Afterwards, they brought to us Teacher Li's lecture tapes. Look at me now, am I not all cured? It's only been over three months. Isn't it miraculous!"

Hearing aunt's story and looking at her changes, I finally understand why my cousins have not been scared by the barbaric persecution from the Chinese Communist Party. Cultivating in Falun Dafa is a magnificent thing!
