The Ongoing Torture of Lin Shizeng, Former Principal of the Hebei Province Technology Quality Control School


(Clearwisdom.net) The camp guards at Baoding Forced Labor Camp inhumanely tortured practitioners who were detained there in an attempt to coerce them into giving up the practice of Falun Gong. Among the tortured practitioners was Mr. Lin Shizeng, the former principal of the Hebei Province Technology Quality Control School, who was hung up with cuffs, beaten and subjected to electric shocks.

On May 17, 2007, the high level provincial authorities held a meeting at the labor camp. After the meeting all guards in the second team were ordered not to go home, but to stay and try to "transform" the steadfast practitioners. That evening deputy chief Han Xiquan, who was in charge of persecuting Falun Gong practitioners, went to carry out the orders. Practitioners were summoned to the interrogation room where the guards questioned them about their state of mind in giving up practicing Falun Gong.

Lin Shizeng had been detained in the labor camp for six months and did not give up the practice. He was hung on an iron bed with two arms spread apart, electric-shocked and beaten by the camp guards led by Zhang Zhanqiang, Liu Qingyong and Yang Weibing. They imposed day and night sessions of "transformation" on Mr. Lin and deprived him of any sleep. After a few days Mr. Lin was extremely weak, thin, pale and confused. On May 20, the guards tied him down on the iron bed and sealed all windows with newspaper. Even the keyhole was blocked. The torture inside the sealed room is still going on.

The practitioners intensely tortured include Liu Zhiling from Laiyuan of Baoding City, who was locked up in a solitary cell, Chang Hezhong from Qinhuangdao City, and others.

According to inside information, there are still over twenty practitioners detained in the labor camp. Some practitioners have been detained there for more than several years. The persecution is ongoing.
