Toronto: Falun Gong Practitioners Attend Canada Day Parades (Photos)

local parades and a community celebration to honor Canada's 140th

and Scarborough. The waist drum performance, celestial maiden dance and exercise
demonstration were warmly welcomed by the spectators. "We are always this
busy during Canada Day every year," one practitioner said. Practitioner Doris Liu said that many Chinese people praised their
performance during the parade. "We brought the beauty of Falun Dafa to
people, and I could sense their appreciation," she said. Practitioners also attended a celebration in the Indian-Pakistani community.
The organizer of the celebration said that many groups attended the celebration,
and the Falun Gong practitioners' performances were excellent. He thanked them
for their participation.
