By a practitioner from Vancouver

(Clearwisdom.net) On July 1, 2007, Vancouver's newly formed Divine Land Marching Band performed at the Canada Day parade--the 62th Salmon Festival Parade in Vancouver.

Falun Gong practitioners in Vancouver have attended this parade ten years in a row. This year, more than 80 thousand people lined the streets.

The band

Military officers on the stage stand up when the band passes by. One of them salutes the band.

Led by a large banner reading, "Falun Dafa", the Divine Land Marching Band, consisting of more than 100 Falun Gong practitioners, performed for the spectators. Following the band were a float and exercise demonstration. Spectators took photos of practitioners and shouted "Great!" Many Chinese people also applauded the practitioners.

When the band passed by the stage, the guests in military uniforms stood up and some of them saluted the practitioners.

Mr. Hong, a practitioner from Taiwan, stated that since Falun Gong practitioners want to bring the beauty of Falun Dafa to society through the band. Mr. Hong appreciated the support from the Canadian people and government.
