I Tell Everyone I Meet That Falun Gong Freed Me From Serious Illness

(Clearwisdom.net) I live in a small town in Shaanxi Province. In May, 2002, I found I had breast cancer. In June, I had a major operation to remove a very large area. After that I started chemotherapy, which made me lose my appetite. I could not sleep, and I was very weak. Eventually I lost all of my hair. This process took half a year to finish. Finally, the illness was under control, more or less.

A year later, serious sickness once again attacked me, and I suffered in extreme pain. I took a large dose of chemotherapy for more than half a year. Lying in bed, I felt dizzy, and everything was spinning around me. Walking was very difficult for me. I was always sweating and I couldn't do any house work. I almost could not take care of myself and my everyday chores. My immune system became very weak. On hot summer days, I felt very cold and had to wear many clothes. When the weather changed it was even worse. That was because the chemotherapy had killed healthy as well as sick cells. After on-again, off-again chemotherapy my physical condition had become worse and worse. Thus, I struggled in between life and death and I was desperate all the time. The thought of suicide even came to me.

When I was hopeless, I met a kindhearted lady who taught me to recite by heart: "Falun Dafa is good", "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance is good." I thought I could not live any longer. Why should I be afraid of anything? Why not give it a try. Thus, I started to recite "Falun Dafa is good" "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance is good." After a period of time, I was able to fall asleep. That gave me confidence in those wonderful words. I recited them every day. Whenever I could not fall asleep, I recited them. Just by repeating those two sentences, I thwarted my pathway to death.

Day by day, my condition got better. I could sleep, eat, and take care of myself.

Later, I met a lady who gave me the book, "Zhuan Falun". I was very shocked after reading it. I found many answers in it that were unclear principles in my life, like why people get sick and why people's lives are so different. As if waking from a dream, I found the truth of life.

Since then, my heart has widely opened. My mood began getting better day after day. I started to learn the Falun Gong exercises, and I insisted on doing them every day. However, I was practicing with the pursuit of getting well, an intention that does not conform to the requirements of a practitioner. Thus, the result was not obvious. When I could not persist in doing the exercises, I opened Zhuan Falun and when I saw Master's picture, suddenly, a warm current flew through my whole body. Master's compassion encouraged my eyesight and enabled me to become steadfast in my belief, and to never give up. That elderly lady came to my house to correct my movements, helped me to study the book, and taught me how to righteously understand the Fa principles. Just like this, I persisted for a period of time and my whole body greatly changed. It was almost like changing into another person.

Later, I watched the video of Master's Jinan lecture. I was very excited when I saw Master in the video. His kind smile made me feel I had seen my closest family member. After reading a lecture, I felt that my concept of the whole world had changed. I understood why people came to this world, why people have birth, old age, illness and death, and what is behind natural and man-made calamities. Also I came to understand that the meaning of life lies in being considerate of others and putting others first. In order to be a righteous person, I will act in accordance with truthfulness, compassion, and forbearance. With this standard to be a selfless person, I will always consider others first.

Now, I can take care of the housework and I have a very healthy body and can be a normal person. My family members are very happy to see my changing, and are very much supporting me. My family has become harmonious and the people around me have said I underwent a great change. I tell everyone I meet that it was Falun Gong that enabled me to get rid of those serious illnesses. Dafa has saved my life. Master gave me a new life.

I can't express my appreciation toward Master with language. I can only study the Fa well and do the three things diligently to repay Master's grace. I tell everyone I meet every day not to believe the deceptive propaganda on TV. "Wipe your eyes clear to see the truth. Do not be deceived by the evil Chinese Communist Party."
