Jimo City, Shandong Province: Authorities Ransack Ms. Zhang Xiuying's Home and Arrest Her (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) Around 9 a.m. on June 20, 2007, Dong Quanqi, director of the Department of General Management in Lingshan Town, Jimo City, led three police officers from the Lingshan Town Police Station and broke into Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Zhang Xiuying's home. Ms. Zhang, in her 60's, was arrested. Witnesses said that the four named above were guided by Zhang Weiguang and Cao Shihe, who are the party committee secretary of the Third Village of Lingshan Town and the village head, respectively. Ms. Zhang had locked the outside gate to the yard as well as the inside doors of her home, but the police jumped the fence and opened the gate, then broke the house doors with clubs. They then entered the house and arrested Ms. Zhang.

After Ms. Zhang was arrested and taken away, Dong Quanqi led the three police back into Ms. Zhang's home. They searched like bandits and everything was scattered in a mess. They moved a pot and broke ceramic tiles behind the kitchen, they broke off the door of a large dresser, and they shattered the glass of a door on the south side. In the end, they took two computers and Falun Gong books, as well as truth-clarification materials.

They still wanted more. The same day at around 3 or 4 p.m., some villagers saw four or five police again go into Ms. Zhang's home and attempt to break in. They wanted to threaten Ms. Zhang's son and daughter-in-law. Some good-hearted villagers saw this and locked Ms. Zhang's outer gate, and the police soon left.

Ms. Zhang has been persecuted many times. She was arrested in September 2002 and held in prison for four months. Later she was released due to her serious health condition. She was arrested again in April 2004. Her family has also suffered a lot of harassment and persecution.

Lingshan Town has been harassing and persecuting Falun Gong practitioners from as early as the beginning of 1999. After 1999, Lingshan Town was at the forefront of persecuting Falun Gong around the greater Jimo City area. In the past few years, the number of Falun Gong practitioners that have been arrested, harassed and put into forced-labor camps was the most among all the towns and townships around Jimo City.

In the Third Village of Lingshan Town, people such as village party committee secretary Cao Shixun, village head Jiang Shunzhi, director of public security Zhang Xianliang, and Lingshan Town government staff Wu Hailong have all participated in persecuting Falun Gong. These people have either died from sudden illnesses, suffered from unexpected accidents, or suffered from bad diseases. Their fates give evidence showing the true principle of "good and evil deeds will receive corresponding results." Here, we warn evildoers in Lingshan Town and Jimo City that persecuting Falun Gong is a major crime and sin. If you continue committing these evil deeds, you will follow in these people's footsteps.
