Four Officials Receive Karmic Retribution for Persecuting Falun Gong

Two Police Chiefs from Qing'an County, Heilongjiang Province involved in the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners receive karmic retribution

Chang Shijun (male) was the former police chief of Qing'an County Police's Zhongxing Branch. He is one of the main persons responsible for the death of practitioner Mr. Liu Yan (1869-2002).

Chang Shijun often led the police to illegally arrest practitioners and ransack their homes, no matter if it was during the day or night. He would also loudly curse while ransacking practitioners' homes. In August 1999, he ransacked a practitioner's home and beat the practitioner until he became unconscious and had to be hospitalized.

In August 2000, during the local "Green Food Festival," the Qing'an County police carried out a large scale search of practitioners' homes and arrested them. Chang Shijun actively participated. He cuffed Mr. Qin Zhonghai, a disabled practitioner in his 40's from Qing'an County, Heilongjiang Province, to a radiator and then sent him to a detention center. He also extorted 14,000 yuan from Mr. Qin. The persecution caused both Mr. Qin and his wife (who was also disabled) tremendous trouble and pressure. Fearing further persecution, Mr. Qin Zhonghai stopped practicing Falun Gong. He passed away in 2006.

In September 2001, Chang Shijun extorted 1,500 yuan from a practitioner. Still, he considered the amount too little and demanded more money from the practitioner's family. However, they refused to pay Chang more money and instead, exposed the extortion to the local community. At another time, Chang Shijun planted some Falun Gong materials that he prepared beforehand in a practitioner's home so that he could arrest the practitioner on charges of storing truth-clarification materials.

In 2002, Chang Shijun died of lung cancer.

In 2001, during the local "Green Food Festival," Teng Zhiqiang, Deputy Police Chief of the Qianwei Police Station, participated in the arrest and persecution of Falun Gong practitioners. A few days later on August 12, he drowned at the age of 39.

Zhou Zhuxin, Head of the Qingyun County Bureau of Education, Shandong Province, suddenly dies

Zhou Zhuxin, head of the Qingyun County Bureau of Education, Shandong Province, closely followed the Chinese Communist Party's policies in persecuting Falun Gong during his terms as the head of the two townships' education departments. After the staged self-immolation incident, he publicly slandered Falun Gong and its founder using obscene language.

In March 2002, Zhou Zhuxin's blood pressure suddenly increased dramatically, even up to 220 millimeters of mercury. He also started to display symptoms associated with high blood pressure. At around 4 p.m. on April 27, 2007, he suddenly died due to a massive rupture of the aorta. He was 45 years old.

Wu Gang from the Dongli District Procuratorate, Harbin City, who extorted money from Falun Gong practitioners' families, died of a sudden heart attack

Wu Gang (male), an Assistant Attorney General of the Dongli District Procuratorate, Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province, often extorted money from families of Falun Gong practitioners.

In 2005, a practitioner was arrested by the police and taken to the Dongli District Detention Center. The practitioner's family went to the Dongli District Procuratorate and requested the practitioner be released. Wu Gang lied to the family, saying that the practitioner's term could be reduced to one year of forced labor if they paid 20,000 yuan. However, after the family paid the money, Wu Gang just took it and did not do anything to help them.

On January 6, 2007, he had a sudden heart attack and died before being sent to the hospital.
