(Clearwisdom.net) As Falun Dafa practitioners, it is our mission and responsibility to save sentient beings. This is also how we differ historically from other cultivation practices. We follow Master to rectify the Fa and assist Master as he journeys through this human world. It is a manifestation of the greatness of Dafa disciples that while Dafa is undergoing hardships and many Dafa disciples are being persecuted, we are still able to validate the Fa and save sentient beings.

Evildoing authorities are putting up a last-ditch struggle. With a lot of serious interference and persecution going on, some practitioners in China tend to flinch. Some cover their NTDTV satellite dishes; some hide their Dafa books, and some terminate their communications with other practitioners. While the intentions of these practitioners is probably good, most of these acts reflect a flinching will. What actions conform to the requirements of the Fa for us, then? Follow Master's teachings, keep our hearts steady and our wills unflinching, do whatever we have to do, take saving sentient beings as the highest priority, and do the three things well.

Making every effort to save people is what's most critical. Indeed many practitioners have made tremendous effort in this respect. For example, a practitioner tried to persuade his colleague to quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). Initially it was not very effective as his colleague became very impatient. With an unflinching will, the practitioner kept sending forth righteous thoughts to eliminate the evil interference behind his colleague. Then he calmly told his colleague, "It is for your benefit that I urge you to quit the CCP. I'm not begging you to do so. I don't have to tell you this and I don't have to urge you to quit the CCP, but I cannot bear to not do so, because I know the consequence of not quitting the evil party." His colleague started to calm down and his understanding side finally prevailed, "Then please quit it for me. Thank you."

The power of Dafa always persists. As this story tells us, we must find what is stopping people from being saved and employ various approaches to help them understand that quitting the CCP is for their benefit. Awakening their inherent understanding with compassion is really a very good approach to saving people.

We must take every opportunity to save people. Once a practitioner was asked by her relative to help replace a range hood. Her relative asked her to sell the old range hood to someone who trades in old range hoods. Seeing a few recyclers chatting in front of her relative's building, she asked, "Do you buy old range hoods?" One of them said yes. While he was following her to her relative's home, she did not forget to clarify the truth and persuade him to quit the CCP. "Have you read the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party?" she asked. "Surely I have," he answered. "Do you know about quitting the Party then?" "Surely I do, but I don't know where to announce my withdrawal." Then he started to curse the evil nature of the CCP and list all the hardships the CCP had brought to him. It turned out he joined the CCP after he joined the army. Deeply moved, the practitioner believed that Master brought the predestined person to her. She said to him, "We surely have a predestined relationship. I can help you withdraw from the CCP." The man said very happily, "Please do. Many thanks!"

In the above two examples, had the one practitioner stopped his efforts to save the person after he showed his impatience, the opportunity to save him would have been lost. Had the other practitioner not kept in mind the mission to save sentient beings, the opportunity to save the recycler would be lost as well. As a result, we must make saving sentient beings a high priority. To save sentient beings is the greatest and most sacred thing for practitioners, and is what Master hopes for us to do and what sentient beings are looking forward to.

After the extensive experience of cultivating ourselves, the majority of practitioners have become mature. As one practitioner said during an experience-sharing meeting, "If despite the evil environment we do whatever we have to do with an unflinching will and constantly think about how to save sentient beings at every opportunity, how will the evil be able to persecute us?" Constantly cultivating and elevating our xinxing is essential to our capability of saving more sentient beings.

To all the practitioners, let us focus our efforts on how to save sentient beings.
