France: Local Government of Grenoble Invites Practitioners to Promote Falun Dafa in Town Hall Park (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) For the summer of 2007, the local government of Grenoble planned special activities for two months. As part of these activities, practitioners were invited to introduce Falun Gong to the people.

The Lotus Dance The opening ceremony was held on June 30. In front of all the tourists, Falun Gong practitioners demonstrated the five exercises and performed traditional Chinese dances and waist drums. They also told people about how the innocent practitioners of this wonderful practice are being cruelly persecuted in China.

A lot of visitors stayed in the area to watch the performances, and this created a chance for people to have in-depth conversations with Falun Gong practitioners. After watching the whole performance, many people showed their interest and said: "How nice it is to have a local exercise class here!"

One couple who were learning another qigong asked the practitioners: "After all, how different is Falun Gong from other qigong forms?" Practitioners told them that there are so many kinds of qigong in China, it is indeed multifarious. They said, "We'd like to tell you about the characteristics of Falun Gong, then you can compare what the differences are yourself. There is only one Master in Falun Gong. All practitioners, regardless of when we started, are all disciples of Master Li Hongzhi. All Falun Gong practitioners teach the exercises as volunteers, for free. Falun Gong practitioners do not heal illnesses for others by using supernormal abilities. This is in fact to protect the practitioners. People who have illnesses can purify their bodies and become healthy by genuinely cultivating. Falun Gong not only requires practice (doing the exercises) but also involves cultivating your character (xinxing). In everyday life, a practitioner must do things according to Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance; otherwise there is no difference between this practice and other exercises." After hearing this explanation, this couple suddenly understood and said they would definitely come to the exercise class to learn Falun Gong.

Regarding the persecution of Falun Gong by the Chinese Communist Party, most people understand why this happened, and attribute it to the irrational actions of a dictator. Yet, as Falun Gong practitioners are unyielding, as long as they unremittingly clarify the truth to everyone, with good faith and absolute sincerity, even metal and stone will crack. All the lies and slanders about Falun Gong will be cleared up completely in the hearts of kind people.

During this activity, the local government sent French cakes and soft drinks to Falun Gong practitioners to express their gratitude and appreciation. In return, practitioners tried their best to display the unparalleled goodness of Falun Dafa.
