Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Jia Xinghua lives in Shangzhi City (under Harbin City's jurisdiction). On July 12, 2007, he was illegally arrested for practicing Falun Dafa by officers of the Shangzhi City Police Department. The police kicked him and fractured his lower spine and leg. He suffered abdominal pain, had blood in his urine, and developed symptoms of heart disease.

He is in critical condition and bedridden, and has lost physical abilities. He has been relying on oxygen therapy to breathe since July 14, 2007.

Recently, all female Falun Dafa practitioners formerly detained in the Wanjia Forced Labor Camp in Harbin City were taken to the Qianjin Forced Labor Camp.

Practitioner Ms. Li Yan is an elementary school teacher employed by the Xiaobei Street Elementary School in Yuexiu District, Guanzhou City. On June 29, 2007, Ms. Li was taken to the Cuotou Brainwashing Center by her school administration and the Yuexiu District 610 Office. They deceived her into going by pretending they were going to discuss her job with her. Ms. Li went on a hunger strike to protest the detention. She suffered brutal force-feeding and had an intravenous injection. Her lips were wounded, and they are festering. The situation is critical.

Ms. Li Yan was awarded as an outstanding teacher at the school. After the persecution started, she was sentenced to one year in a forced labor camp for remaining steadfast in her belief in Falun Dafa. She was out of a job and suffered frequent harassment after her release.

Falun Dafa practitioners Mr. Jin Dewei, Mr. Peng Geng, and Mr. Jin Yu were imprisoned in Shenyang City Detention Center's associated hospital in 2003. They were in poor health. Mr. Jin Yu had broken ribs from police beatings. Mr. Jin Dewei's health worsened under the persecution, and it was far below the prison admission requirements. However, he was taken to Fushun Prison regardless of his health condition.

Falun Dafa practitioners Ms. Gao Xianqin, Ms. Hu Jingxiu, and Mr. Yu Honggui (Ms. Gao's husband) are retirees from the Guiyan Vehicle Factory. They have been harassed frequently by employees of the factory led by CCP secretary Bao Jiaju (male). In 2006, Ms. Hu Jingxiu was taken to the Lannigou Brainwashing Center by the factory officials and was tortured there. The factory stopped pension payments to Ms. Gao Xianqin and Mr. Yu Honggui several years ago. Their home electricity was cut off without reason. The couple had to make a living doing odd jobs.

On July 13, 2007, the three practitioners were arrested at their temporary residence and detained in the Dongzhan Police Station. All valuables, including a notebook computer, were confiscated by the police. The practitioners' whereabouts is unknown.

Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Liu Shuxiang is a 51-year-old school doctor in the Yuehu Elementary School of Laixi City, Shandong Province. On July 17, 2007, she was arrested by the police from the Chengguan Police Station when she was clarifying the truth. They confiscated her MP3 player, her keys, and other items. Then they ransacked her home and took a computer, a printer, several documents, two MP3 players, and other personal property.

On July 18, the police went to her school and searched her office desk. They took Falun Dafa books and told the school that Ms. Liu was arrested on criminal charges.

Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Lu Guiqin lives in Haishiwan Town, Honggu District in Lanzhou City, Gansu Province. She was arrested after leaving home at around 7 a.m. on July 20, 2007. At around 9 a.m., a dozen local police officers, including Chen Zuopeng (male), opened the door of Ms. Lu's home using the key seized from Ms. Lu, and searched her home without a warrant. They confiscated Falun Dafa books, a picture of Master, and other property. They arrested Ms. Lu's son, practitioner Mr. Guan Longshan.

Practitioner Mr. Zhao Jinzeng is a Linjiang City resident and lives on Xinshi Street. On July 11, 2007, he was arrested by police from the Badaogou Police Station in Baoquan or Badaogou Town, Changbai County, Jilin Province. His home was searched by police from the Xinshi Police Station (part of the Linjiang Police Department) at around 6 p.m. the same day. He is imprisoned in Linjiang City Detention Center.

Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Wang Caiqin is a Longkou City resident and an employee of Nanshan Corp. Around May 26, 2007, she was found carrying Falun Dafa fliers in her handbag. They were found while she was searched before leaving her work site. She was taken to the Nanshan Security Office and beaten brutally for not disclosing the source of the handouts. Later, she was taken to the Zhangjiagou Detention Center. She was given only a bowl of salted water and a steamed bun each day to eat and she was tortured. Her family went to visit her, but they were denied visitation and threatened.

Agents from the Nanshan Security Office broke into Ms. Wang's home and beat her husband (a non-practitioner) for more than half an hour. They did not stop beating him even when he was overcome with pain and rolling on the ground. They fired her husband from his job and withheld his pay.

Reportedly, Ms. Wang Caiqin was sentenced to one year of imprisonment and would soon be taken to the Wangcun Forced Labor Camp.

The Zhabei District Court in Shanghai City and the Shanghai 610 Office sentenced practitioner Ms. Feng Rongxia to three years in prison. Ms. Feng is in very bad condition but she was not granted medical parole.

Ms. Ye Lin, 42, was an employee of the Nan County Technical School in Yiyang City, Hunan Province. In May 2007, Ms. Ye was released from the Baimalong Forced Labor Camp in Zhuzhou City, Hunan Province. Recently, the local officials in Yiyang City have been taking practitioners to brainwashing sessions. Ms. Ye was forced to leave home to avoid persecution.

At around 7 a.m. on June 27, 2007, Ms. Zhou Chuanzhen and four other practitioners were arrested in Yaoxu Town, Mengyin County. On July 11, 2007, Mr. Shi Shaoxin, a practitioner from Yelaoyu Village, Yaoxu Town, was arrested as well. At around 7 a.m. on July 18, 2007, Ms. Lei Xin, a teacher at the Taoxu County Center School, was arrested and taken to a brainwashing session set up by the Mengyin County 610 Office.

13. [Beijing] Mr. Li Donghua and Ms. Wang Jiaxiang Missing for More Than Six Months

Around the time of the Chinese New Year in 2007, Mr. Li Donghua, Ms. Wang Jiaxia and several other practitioners from Chaoyan District, Beijing went to the Tuanhe Forced Labor Camp to send forth righteous thoughts. They never returned, and their whereabouts are unknown.

Mr. Zhou Hongxin and Mr. Shi Yinguo are practitioners from Wumayin Village, Wumaying County in Nanpi County of Cangzhou City, Hebei Province. In July 2007, after the police detected that they browsed the Minghui website through broadband Internet access, several police officers broke into their homes and confiscated their computers and USB drives. They also notified Mr. Zhou and Mr. Shi that they were to go to the police department for further "discussion."

Ms. Lin Kuimei, 54, from Zhaoyuan City, Shandong Province, is currently detained in the Third Division of the Wangcun Women's Labor Camp. Because Ms. Lin refused to renounce Falun Gong, the camp guards did not allow her to sleep for 10 days. They beat her to the ground and grabbed her hand to make her sign a guarantee statement.

Ms. Qiu Jiaxiu, 45, from Zhucheng City, Shandong Province, refused to cooperate with the unreasonable demands of the guards, and her term was extended.

Ms. He Lingdi, 45, from Muping District, Yantai City, Shandong Province, was persecuted to the point of not being able to take care of herself. However, the labor camp officials refused to release her.

Ms. Yu Xiuhua, 54 , from Rushan City, Shandong Province, refused to renounce Falun Gong. The guards tortured her since she clarified the truth to them.

Ms. Liu Hongxia, from Changyi City, Shandong Province, was detained in a solitary cell because she refused to renounce Falun Gong. She was forced to get up earlier in the morning and go to bed late at night. This form of persecution has lasted for a long time.

Ms. Zhu Huizhen, 48, is a practitioner from Changyi City, Shandong Province. She was detained in a solitary cell for a long time because she refused to renounce Falun Gong. She lost her eyesight due to the persecution.

Ms. Xu Youfang, 58, from Zhucheng City, Shandong Province, was detained in a solitary cell for a long time because she refused to renounce Falun Gong.

Ms. Gao Wenmei, from Kuiwen District, Weifang City, Shandong Province, was tortured for "clarifying the truth" to the guards.

Ms. Zhou Caixia, 54, from Jiaozhou City, Shandong Province, was beaten for clarifying the truth to the guards.

Police from the Wanbaoqiao Police Station arrested Mr. Cui Enyong, a practitioner from Dengta City, Handan City when he was clarifying the truth. He is currently detained in the Wujia Detention Center.

On the morning of July 19, 2007, police from Dehui City State Security Division and Changchun City State Security arrested Ms. Liang Baozhen and ransacked her home. They confiscated Ms. Jiang's personal property. Currently, Ms. Jiang's whereabouts are unknown.

On the afternoon of July 13, 2007, officials from the Jiangjin City (under Chongqing City) State Security Division, the Jiangjin City Police Department, the Jianjin City 610 Office, and the local community arrested Ms. Wen Qinghua, who is in her fifties. They ransacked Ms. Wen's home and confiscated many Falun Gong materials and CDs. Currently, Ms. Wen is detained in the Langshan Detention Center.
