Practitioner Dai Qiyuan Persecuted in Zhongba Forced Labor Camp, Guizhou Province

(Clearwisdom.net) After several years of persecution for holding firm to his belief in Falun Dafa, Mr. Dai Qiyuan returned home on August 2006 reduced to a skeleton, his hair lost, and appeared much older than his actual age. Even his relatives couldn't recognize him. His right hand is mutilated and always trembles.

While the effects of the torture that Dai suffered were noticeable, the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) persecution of his family and the tremendous mental anguish that they all experienced were immeasurable. While Dai suffered persecution, his wife was subjected to persecution at the Zhongba Women's Forced Labor Camp. His two children, 16 and 13, were forced to leave home. In order to feed themselves, they became child workers. Once, one of Dai's sons saved enough money and went to the Zhongba Women's Forced Labor Camp to visit his mom, but police officers denied him the visit. He then climbed a tree and, during lunch, cried out his mom's name towards the prison. As a result, guards tried to detain him.

The Zhongba Forced Labor Camp in Guizhou Province is a dark den for persecuting Falun Gong practitioners. Many practitioners were tortured to death. On arrival at the labor camp, practitioners were first sent to a so-called garrison where practitioners were tortured.

In January 2000, Dafa practitioner Dai Qiyuan from Chishui City was sentenced to three years of forced labor for participating in the group exercises in Tucheng Town. Dai was subjected to the brutal reality of persecution at the Zhongba Forced Labor Camp in Guizhou City.

Dai was not allowed to sleep while at the "garrison." The officers only gave him a little food to eat. Police officers Yang Renshou, Pan Zhong, Xu Fayuan, Li Jiliang, Liu Yirui and Xu Hongjiang (who was drug addict) all beat Dai and dragged him back and forth on the floor like a mop until he lost consciousness. Dai's shoes and clothes were damaged. He was bathed in blood. The villains ruthlessly persecuted practitioners to destroy practitioners' wills and make them abandon their faith.

In September 2000, the evil persecutors continued their persecution of Dai by putting a wet towel on an air vent, forced Dai to stand on a wet towel near the vent and kept him from sleeping for four days and nights. Guiyang is located on the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau, so it is very cold in September. Dai was weakened by standing in the wind, quivering with cold. He was forced to sign the "four statements" against Falun Gong.

While being held in the Zhongba Forced Labor Camp in Guiuizhou, Dai Qiyuan was forced to labor, clean the prison area including the yard, cells and hallways. Dai's relatives were not allowed to visit him. The officers also cut off Dai's contact with the community outside the prison. Dai only received 5 yuan per month in the labor camp.

In April 2003, Dai was abducted by the Chishui City Public Security Bureau and sentenced to three years of forced labor at the Zhongba Forced Labor Camp. He stood in a solitary cell of the 5th team for two days and nights. Then he was sent to a so-called "conquering room" for half a month. He was not allowed to sleep. Three drug addicts (one of them Ma Jian from Qing Town) monitored him. The police officers Yang Renshou, Li Jiliang and others assaulted Dai for 24 hours in order to force him sign the "four statements."

Because Dai refused to cooperate with the evil demands, he was sent to a solitary cell for 10 days and the "conquering room" for half a month. Dai was monitored by drug addicts Li Jialong, Ye Houzhong and Liu Meng. They didn't allow Dai to speak at all. No matter how they persecuted him, Dai refused to cooperate. The guards forced him to thread thousands of light bulbs. Dai was not allowed to do the exercises, or talk with other practitioners. He was forced to stand under the steaming hot sun during the summer and to stand in the cold during the winter. He was forced to work long, grueling shifts around the clock. These kinds of persecution were never stopped during those three years. The officers forbid Dai to write to his family. The money that Dai's relatives sent to him was returned.

In May 2006, after the end of his detention term, he was abducted by the Chishui City Public Security Bureau, sent to the Zunyi Brainwashing Class and forced to undergo brainwashing for 100 days. After he was released in August 2006, the Chishui City Public Security Bureau, the Shizhong Police Substation of Chishui City and the police in his neighborhood continually harassed Dai at his home. In October, over 10 policemen--led by Wang Bin--broke into his home to interrogate Dai Qiyuan. As a result, Dai Qiyuan was forced to become homeless and his whereabouts are unknown to this day.
