Japan: Promoting Falun Dafa at Summer Festivals (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) Many popular festivals in Japan take place during the summer. Falun Gong practitioners took these opportunities to spread the benefits of Falun Dafa to the Japanese people.

The annual Hitachi Port Festival was held on July 29, 2007. Events included art performances, fireworks, and water-spraying performances with security boats. Local residents and businesses love this festival. Falun Gong practitioners were given forty minutes of performance time. They demonstrated the Falun Gong exercises and gave a dance performance. The host introduced Falun Gong and talked about the persecution in China.

Falun Gong practitioners participated in the Double Seventh Festival in Fussa on August 4 and gave a dance performance showing the spirit of Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance. They also demonstrated and introduced the Falun Gong exercises. Their performance was highly praised by the sponsor of the festival.

Two Japanese high school students volunteered to hold the Falun Gong banner during the performance. They also showed great interest in the Falun Gong bookmarks and the hand-made lotus flowers. The students said that they planned to invite the practitioners to introduce Falun Gong at their upcoming student activities.
