Guang'an District Court in Sichuan Province Illegally Sentences Falun Gong Practitioners

(Clearwisdom.net) Guang'an District Court in Sichuan Province planned to put on trial Falun Gong practitioners Ding Yaorong, Zeng Geping and Xiang Lin at 8:30 a.m. on August 1, 2007. Xiang Lin was transferred to Guang'an Detention Center.

Police from Guang'an City used various methods to monitor Falun Gong practitioners. At around 9:00 on November 2, 2006, Yu Yi, the Political and Legal Committee secretary of Guang'an City, led more than twenty police officers to surround Mr. Xiang Lin's apartment in Huaying City. The police softly knocked on the door. As soon as Mr. Xiang opened the door, the police rushed in and handcuffed him. The police yelled and one police officer forced Zeng Geping to kneel down. Zeng refused, so the officer kicked him to the floor. Practitioner Ding Yaorong stopped the officer.

The police confiscated four laptops, a few printers and CD burners, and over one hundred thousand yuan worth of personal items including over ten thousand yuan in cash and bank deposit slips. The perpetrators then divided the computers and cash among themselves. They tried to force the practitioners to tell them the passwords to their bank accounts, but failed.

It was very cold outside, but the police made the practitioners wear very thin clothes. Practitioner Ding Yaorong refused to be photographed, so the police handcuffed her to an iron chair.

On November 26, Mr. Xiang Lin went on a hunger strike to protest his illegal detention. Without going through a trial, the police of Huaying City secretly transferred Mr. Xiang to the hospital inside Gaopingchuan Central Prison in Nanchong City, Sichuan Province.

Ding Yaorong and Zeng Geping were not sent to a detention center after being taken into custody. The perpetrators were afraid the truth about the persecution would be exposed, so they hid Ding and Zeng to secretly interrogate and persecute them. The practitioners were not afraid of the torture. They used righteous thoughts to clarify the facts to the perpetrators. Many officers learned the truth about Falun Gong from them. The police who monitored them said that the two practitioners were magnificent and strong. The perpetrators saw that they could not "transform" the practitioners, so they sent Ding and Zeng to Wusheng County Detention Center and Guang'an Detention Center. Since these two practitioners were arrested, their families have not known of their whereabouts. Details of their persecution needs to be verified further.

The perpetrators in Guang'an District sent the information they illegally extorted from the practitioners to the Procuratorate in Guang'an District, attempting to sentence them to prison. They sent their material to Sichuan Province, but were rejected. The perpetrators still did not give up and continued to persecute Falun Gong practitioners.

We hope those who are still persecuting Falun Gong practitioners immediately stop the persecution and make up for their faults by doing good deeds. There are currently over 24 million Chinese people who have quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). The Communist regime will soon collapse. Under immense pressure, both internationally and domestically, the wicked Communist Party has begun secretly killing officials and doctors who are actively involved in persecuting Falun Gong practitioners, and who are harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners. Perpetrators must not think that someone will bear the responsibility for the sins they have committed. Many of the bad deeds that they have committed have already been recorded on the Clearwisdom website. If they continue to follow the CCP in persecuting Falun Gong, they will be brought to justice.
