(Clearwisdom.net) Three Falun Gong practitioners from different countries testified in a Spanish court on July 30, 2007. They accused Chinese high-ranking officials of committing crimes of genocide and cruel torture againstFalun Gong practitioners. The largest Spanish free daily newspaper, Twenty Minutes, interviewed these three practitioners.

The newspaper reported that tens of thousands of innocent people were slaughtered by the Chinese Communist autocratic regime just because they practice a spiritual movement based on "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance." This is the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners by the Chinese regime. The Spanish judiciary is investigating the ongoing atrocities in Chinese jails. The Spanish Supreme Court has accepted the lawsuit that began on June 20, 2006, ruling that the Spanish court can hear the case on genocide and cruel torture against innocent people in China.

The three victims of the persecution, Zhao Ming, Dai Zhizhen, and Chen Ying appeared last Monday before Judge Ismael Moreno in the Spanish state court. They gave detailed accounts of their horrifying experiences in Chinese jails.

Zhao Ming is an information sciences student, currently living in Ireland. He described his experience while returning to China to visit relatives. "I was kidnapped by secret police upon returning to China and thrown into a jail. They used all kinds of cruel torture, trying to force me into giving up my belief. They forcibly pressed down my upper body toward my legs, bending my body at the waist and stuffing me under the bed for several days. The pain was unbearable. The reason I could survive was because I was thin. Others were less fortunate. One of my fellow practitioners became permanently paralyzed after his lumbar vertebra was broken." He also gave accounts of other types of tortures, e.g., forced standing for over 10 hours with hands touching the feet, electric shock and deprivation of sleep. "I was handcuffed to a chair and several policemen beat me as soon as I closed my eyes." With the pressure from the Irish government and the international society, Mr. Zhao was finally released.

Dai Zhizhen works in the tourism industry. With her little daughter Fadu by her side, she was seeking justice for her husband. Her husband was murdered by Chinese Communist authorities because he spoke out for Falun Gong. "He was arrested after he sent a letter to the Beijing authorities stating that Falun Gong was good and did no harm to society. Fadu was only 9 months old at that time." As she spoke about her husband, Ms. Dai was grief-stricken. She said that she would not stop appealing until the murderer of her husband was brought to justice. "Fadu was still a small child when we went to Tiananmen Square to protest. The police beat both of us regardless of her age." Although they now live in Australia, Ms. Dai said she was often followed by strangers and harassed over the phone. "The Chinese Communist regime has a persecution network all over the world."

Chen Ying was forced to divorce as a result of the persecution of Falun Gong. Her husband was a civil servant and was forced to disavow her. She was forced out of China and is residing in France now. She was arrested three times without just cause. She was imprisoned in a forced labor camp, where she endured extreme suffering that she would never forget. "The guard ordered ordinary criminals to beat me. They stripped me naked and poured ice-cold water on my body in the winter time. This torture continued for two days. It was horrible." Ms. Chen suffered partial memory loss as a result of being forcibly injected with unknown drugs. She was subjected to whole body physical examinations, which raises suspicions that she may have been a target for organ harvesting.

Organ Trade Black Market

A report, written by David Kilgour, former Canadian MP, Secretary of State for Asia-Pacific and renowned human rights lawyer David Matas, confirmed the allegation that "organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners" does exist. "We have concluded that the government of China and its agencies in numerous parts of the country, in particular hospitals but also detention centres and 'people's courts', since 1999 have put to death a large but unknown number of Falun Gong prisoners of conscience. Their vital organs, including kidneys, livers, corneas and hearts were seized involuntarily for sale at high prices... "
