Edinburgh, Scotland: Practitioners Participate in the Edinburgh Cavalcade Parade for the Sixth Year in a Row (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) The annual Edinburgh Cavalcade began in Scotland's capital Edinburgh on August 5. Falun Gong practitioners and the European Divine Land Marching Band came to participate in the annual parade and received warm applause from spectators all along the route. This is the sixth year in a row that practitioners have participated in the Cavalcade Parade.

Over 80 groups from around the world joined this year's parade. About 50,000 spectators lined the streets to watch the parade despite the rain. Two big banners reading "Falun Dafa" and "Truth, Compassion, Forbearance" led the Falun Gong group, followed by the European Divine Land Marching Band, which consists of over 110 members. They performed "Falun Dafa is Good," and "Fa Drum & Fa Trumpet."

Then came a beautiful float. Five practitioners on the float demonstrated the slow and peaceful Falun Gong exercises. A group of fan dancers followed. Twenty women performed to the music of "Celebrating Falun Dafa Day." Bringing up the rear were banners such as "Falun Dafa is Practised in Over Seventy Countries", "Millions of People Benefit Both their Mind and Body by Practising Falun Dafa," "Buddha's Light Shines Everywhere, Propriety and Righteousness Harmonise Everything." They also carried Falun banners in many different colours.
