1. [Jiamusi City, Heilongjiang Province] Falun Gong Practitioner Cui Shengyun in Critical Condition from Torture
Ms. Cui Shengyun has been on a persecution-protest hunger strike for more than 15 days. Personnel from the Jiamusi City Detention Center brutally force-fed her many times. Ms. Cui has vomited blood a few times and was hospitalized for emergency care. Though she is skeleton-like, personnel from the city's Yonghong National Security Division still submitted Ms. Cui's case to the city's Procuratorate and the city's Intermediate Court to have her sentenced.
2. [Cangzhou City, Hebei Province] Practitioner Qi Yunping Is on a Hunger Strike
Ms. Qi Yunping from Haixing County, Cangzhou City is presently being held at the county's detention center. She has been on a persecution-protest hunger strike since July 23, 2007. Personnel from the detention center forbade Ms. Qi's family's visits.
Ms. Qi, in her 40s, is a teacher from the county's Ma Factory Primary School. She started to practice Falun Gong in 1999. Following her arrest, primary school principal Qi Baochang circulated rumors about Ms. Qi and slandered Falun Gong.

4. [Jimo City, Shandong Province] Personnel from the Shandong Province No. 2 Women's Forced Labor Camp Persecute Practitioners
Practitioner Ms. Song Xiaotang from Shangkuang Village, Tianheng Town, Jimo City is being held at the Shandong Province No. 2 Women's Forced Labor Camp's No. 4 Division. It was heard that 60 or 70 practitioners are presently being held in the No.4 Division, while about 100 practitioners are being held in each of the other three divisions. Those practitioners who are in critical condition due to persecution-protest hunger strikes are usually transferred to the provincial No. 83 Factory Hospital in Wangcun Town for further persecution.

8. [Beijing] Practitioner Sun Yi Arrested and Her Home Ransacked
Personnel from the Qinghe Police Station arrested Ms. Sun Yi from the Xisanqi Area of Beijing and ransacked her home the night of July 29, 2007. Police took her to the Qinghe Detention Center. Several other practitioners were also arrested that day. They included Mr. Zhang Lei and an official living in the Air Force Residential Community.

9. [Qingyuan County, Liaoning Province] Mr. Jiang Weijie Arrested
Personnel from the Cangshi Police Station arrested practitioner Mr. Jiang Weijie and took him to the Fushun City Luotai Resort Brainwashing Center at 11:00 a.m. on July 30, 2007. Mr. Jiang has been persecuted many times.
10. [Yongqing County, Hebei Province] Practitioners Li Shujun and Wang Shuping Arrested
Personnel from the Langfang City National Security Division arrested Ms. Li Shujun and Ms. Wang Suping from Yongqing County and took them into the county's police department's No.1 Section on July 30, 2007. The arrest happened when the two practitioners were distributing truth-clarification materials at Beima Village in the county. Ms. Wang's family heard about her arrest and requested her release from their village head. They took her home, but Ms. Li is still being held.
11. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Supplemental Information Regarding the Arrests of Practitioners Huang Tiebo and Huang Fujun
About twenty villagers beat Mr. Huang Tiebo and Mr. Huang Fujun on the night July 24, 2007. The two had been explaining the facts about Falun Gong to the residents of Majiadian Village, Songfengshan Town, Acheng City. Personnel from the town's police department arrested and beat them.
In order to escape, Mr. Huang Fujun jumped from the second floor of the police station building and fractured both feet. He could not walk. Mr. Huang was taken to the Aicheng City Chinese Medical Hospital the next day, followed by hospitalization at the Harbin City Police Hospital. Mr. Huang Tiebo is being held at the Acheng City Detention Center.
12. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Supplemental Information Regarding the Arrests of Practitioners Gao Chunzi, Yan Shuyun, and Wang Xiuzhi
Police arrested three practitioners at Sanjiazitun Village in Liaodian Township, Acheng City, on May 8, 2007. They included 66-year-old practitioner Ms. Gao Chunzi, 67-year-old Ms. Yan Shuyun, and 71-year-old Ms. Wang Xiuzhi, employees from the Acheng City Electronic Factory. They were held at the Acheng City No. 1 and No. 2 Detention Centers until they were transferred to the Harbin City Xiangfang District Detention Center on July 31, 2007.
13. [Zibo City, Shandong Province] Practitioner Yang Dezhong's Four-Member Family Persecuted
Personnel from the Linliu District Police Department's National Security Division arrested the practitioner couple Ms. Shang Guiqin and Mr. Yang Dezhong and their younger daughter Yang Yang on July 21, 2007. The arrest happened as the family explained the facts about Falun Gong in a vegetable market. The police ransacked their home and confiscated a computer, a printer, and all the family's cash. The couple's older daughter Ms. Yang Tong returned home after work and found the home in a mess. When she reported the situation to police, she was arrested. 14. [Tianjin] Practitioner Shang Guizhi Arrested
Personnel from the Gaocun Village Police Station arrested Ms. Shang Guizhi from the village in Gaocun Town, the Wuqing District, Tianjin City at noon on July 30, 2007. Police confiscated Dafa books, one of Master's pictures, and a satellite receiver for the New Tang Dynasty TV signal. Ms. Yang is presently being held at the Yangcun Detention Center in the district.
Personnel from the town's police department went to practitioner Ms. Wang Shumin's home in Taitou Village, Gaocun Town, and confiscated a satellite receiver the morning of July 31, 2007.

Seven policemen arrested Ms. Du Yufen from her home in the Xinhua Building, Tangshan City at 3:00 p.m. on July 21, 2007.
Two policemen arrested practitioner Ms. Fu Wenling from her home in Zhouzhaozhuang Village, the Kaiping District, Tangshan City at 6:00 p.m. on July 31, 2007.
16. [Penglai County, Shandong Province] Practitioners Zou Zonghua and Sun Shuqin Arrested
Personnel from the Nanwang Police Station arrested Ms. Zou Zonghua and Ms. Sun Shuqin from Nanqin Village, Penglai County, the afternoon of July 30, 2007. Police took them to the county's detention center at noon on July 31, 2007. Personnel from the police station extorted 1,000 yuan from the two practitioners, who are in their 60s.

Linqing City Police Department's National Security Section chief Mei Baohua arrested Ms. Zhou Hua from her home at 6:00 p.m. on July 20, 2007.
18. [Wafangdian City, Liaoning Province] Practitioner Wang Min Sentenced to Two Years of Forced Labor
Ms. Wang Min, 50 years old and from Wafangdian City, was sentenced to two years of forced labor in May 2007. She is presently being held at the Dalian City Forced Labor Camp.

19. [Gulang County, Gansu Province] The Persecution of Practitioner Zhao Changju
Gulang County 610 Office head Wang Lijun and National Security Division chief Zhang Jicai colluded with Chengguan Police Station chief Zhang Yaojun. They arrested Ms. Zhao Changju and confiscated her computer and other items worth 10,000 yuan at 11:00 a.m. on February 8, 2007. It was heard that Ms. Zhao was secretly sentenced on June 5, 2007. She is presently being held at the county's detention center. This is Ms. Zhao's fifth arrest.
20. [Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province] Practitioner Liu Yu Sentenced and Her Whereabouts Unknown
Ms. Liu Yu, in her 30s, graduated from Beijing Technology University. She used to be a reporter for the Wenhui Newspaper and was also an employee of a school in Shenzhen City. Police arrested her the morning of March 30, 2005. Shenzhen City Court agents sentenced her to four years in prison on March 20, 2006. Ms. Liu appealed. There has been no information about her since November 2006.
21. [Jilin Province] The Persecution of Ms. Feng Guirong
Personnel from the Jilin City Fengman National Security Division and from the city's National Security Division arrested practitioner Ms. Feng Guirong from her privately owned Fengman Senior Center on June 29, 2007. They put her in the city's Police Dog Training Base. Police force-fed her with mustard oil, burned her with a cigarette, rolled a metal stick on her shins, and forced her to sit on the tiger bench
22. [Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province] Practitioner Huang Jingkun Arrested
Mr. Huang Jingkun, 75 years old, is a retired officer from the Qiqihar City Construction Bank. Personnel from the Tiefeng District Police Department arrested him at 6:00 a.m. on July 25, 2007, as he went downstairs. The police searched Mr. Huang and seized his house key. They attempted to open his home with the key, but failed. They then put Mr. Huang into a police vehicle and left.
Police used a fire engine ladder to break into Mr. Huang's home through a window at 7:00 a.m. that day. They confiscated a computer, a printer, and some other items. Several policemen took turns staying at Mr. Huang's home in order to arrest other practitioners.
23. [Heilongjiang Province] Practitioner Sun Chengshun Abused at the Mudanjiang City Prison
Mr. Sun Chengshun, who was being held at the Mudanjiang City Prison, requested no forced-labor on weekends, but the prison's No.6 Division deputy chief Wang Hui beat him and put him in a small cell on July 11, 2007.
The guards have often beaten Mr. Sun and put him into small cells since he was sent into the prison in 2002.

24. [Siping City, Jilin Province] Several Practitioners Arrested
Practitioners Mr. Qiang Yongsheng and his wife Ms. Li Yuqin were arrested in the Sidaokou Area, the Tiexi District, Siping City, in the middle of July 2007. Mr. Qiang is an employee of the Legal Section in the city's police department.
A male practitioner, an employee of the district's tax bureau, was arrested. It was heard that his wife, surnamed Hu, works at the district police department's Legal Section.
Practitioner Ms. An Shuyun from Jiefang Street was arrested, as were practitioners Mr. Dong Qingguo and Mr. Zhang Kejiang and his wife, Ms. Dou Lina. Mr. Zhang and his wife were sentenced to forced labor.
About 17 practitioners from Siping City were arrested in the middle of July 2007. Some are being held at other cities.
25. [Beijing] Practitioner Mr. Liu Mingya from Miyun County Was Arrested and His Home Was Ransacked on July 12, 2007
26. [Panjin City, Liaoning Province]Ms. Practitioner Fan Shuhua from the Liaohe Oil Field Arrested
Practitioner Ms. Fan Shuhua, in her 60s, lives in Zhuangong Village at the Liaohe Oil Field. She was arrested and her home was ransacked at 8:50 on July 30, 2007. Her computer was confiscated.
27. [Xiajin County, Shandong Province] Persecution and Release of Several Practitioners
Practitioner Mr. Li Jiayao from Xiajin County was sentenced to three years of forced labor, and Mr. Ren Jingling was sentenced to one year and two months of forced labor. Practitioners Ms. Wang Fenglan and Mr. Wang Chuanlong's wife were fined and then released. Practitioner Mr. Zhang Zhiqiang has been released.

29. [Zhengzhou City, Henan Province] Practitioner Wang Tongxin Sentenced to Six Years in Prison
Mr. Wang Tongxin from Zhengzhou City was arrested at the Xinpaicheng Technology Market and taken to the city's No.1 Detention Center on August 17, 2006. He was secretly sentenced to six years in prison in June 2007. He is presently being held at the Xinmi City Men's Prison.

Personnel from the Huiji District Police Department in Zhengzhou City arrested Ms. Liu Zhenni at 8:00 p.m. in June 2007. Police ordered her to pay a 1,000 yuan fine, but Ms. Liu refused. She is presently being held at the district's detention center.
