Linyi Police Illegally Arrest Falun Gong Practitioner Mr. Xu Zengheng (Photo)

Mr. Xu Zengheng

Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Xu Zengheng worked at the Linyi City Textile Factory in Shandong Province. A group of officers led by Liu Weili, head of the Lanshan Police Department's National Security Division, and Ge Qingming, head of Lanshan Road Police Department, arrested Mr. Xu when he was shopping on June 6, 2007. He is being held at Linyi City Detention Center.

Xu Zengheng had already been held at a detention center for one month in 2000. He was also held at a forced labor camp for three years between 2001 and 2004. Shen Shuxia, the Party Secretary from his workplace, seized him in 2004 and took him to a brainwashing center, where he was held for more than 30 days.
