(Clearwisdom.net) On the afternoon of August 11, 2007, more than 4,000 people from across Taiwan came to Kaohsiung to support 25 million Chinese people who have quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations. They wanted to spread the news about quitting the CCP around the world and awaken the world's people, helping them to understand the CCP's evil nature.

The Divine Land Marching Band's vigorous musical performance opened the grand parade. Lingering drizzle was unable to dampen the majestic and righteous procession that spanned five to six kilometers on the busy streets in Kaohsiung. Brilliant banners, flags and display boards bearing messages against the CCP were held high. People on both sides of the streets were curious. They were surprised at first and then after learning about the evil nature of the CCP, they too condemned the CCP and expressed respect and admiration for Falun Gong practitioners.

Since the CCP started the persecution of Falun Gong in 1999, countless Falun Gong practitioners who cultivate "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance" have been subjected to murder, incarceration and many families have been torn apart. Since the Epoch Times published the editorial series entitled Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party to expose the CCP's evil nature in 2004, Chinese people who have learned about the truth have announced their renouncement of the CCP and its affiliated organizations. In March 2006, the general world media began exposing the CCP's crimes against humanity by harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners for profit and then cremating the murdered bodies to destroy the evidence. The world has focused its attention on this atrocity and has thus pushed forward the grand tide of quitting of the CCP. As of today, nearly 25 million Chinese people have quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations. The grand parade in Kaohsiung, Taiwan was actually supporting the brave Chinese people overseas.

While the grand parade procession was marching on busy streets of Southern Taiwan, overseas, on a spacious sidewalk on Chungshan, Second Road, short plays were put up to expose the CCP's atrocities of harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners and persecuting kind and innocent people. The anti-torture exhibit depicting the CCP's persecuting and killing of Falun Gong practitioners told people about the genocidal crimes currently happening in China.

The parade is conducive to awakening people's conscience and courage so that all righteous people can work together to support justice.
