People Who Persecute Falun Gong Practitioners Receive Retribution: Two Cases
(Clearwisdom.net) Policeman Who Persecuted Falun Gong Practitioners Died from Cancer Qi Jianmin, in his fifties, was an officer with the Fangjia Town Police
Station in Kangping County, Liaoning Province. Beginnng in July 1999 when the
persecution of Falun Gong first started, he actively collaborated with the
regime to persecute Falun Gong. Qi frequently went to practitioners' residences
to harass them and tried to compel practitioners to sign documents to renounce
their practice of Falun Gong. He even went around to announce that if he were
Jiang Zemin, he would also persecute Falun Gong. He was diagnosed with liver and
lung cancer in 2005 and has since died. Hotel Manager Extorted Money from a Practitioner and Received Retribution A practitioner worked in a hotel in Kangping County. He was very diligent and
responsible in his work, and his colleagues gave him credit for his good work.
The hotel manager, Han Weide, also assigned the practitioner important tasks and
placed him in an important position. When the persecution started in July 1999, this practitioner went to Beijing
to appeal for justice for Falun Gong. After he returned, disregarding this man's
good work performance, the hotel manager was mean to the practitioner and picked
on him simply because he practiced Falun Gong. Not only that, he fined the
practitioner and extorted five thousand yuan from him as deposit
money. The practitioner clarified the truth to him but Han refused
to listen. A few days later, Han Weide abused another employee during a physical
conflict. The employee extorted seven thousand yuan from him for medical
expenses. In connection with this incident, Han Weide was subsequently fired. July 27, 2007
