Ms. Wang Qiaoying Suffers Mental Collapse After Being Force-fed Unknown Drugs

(Clearwisdom.net) Practitioner Ms. Wan Qiaoying from Gejiu City, Yunnan Province, was sentenced to five years of imprisonment in 2006. During her detention at Kunming No. 2 Women's Prison, she was force-fed unknown drugs and injected with various substances, and was also tortured. In May of this year, Ms. Wan was released on bail for medical treatment. However, by this time she had suffered a mental breakdown, her had body was very stiff and she was unable to speak.

Ms. Wang Qiaoying, about 57 years old, is a resident of Datun Township, Gejiu City, Honghe Prefecture, Yunnan Province. She was detained twice for practicing Falun Dafa. In January 2004, Ms. Wan was locked up at the Gejiu Detention Center and was released after being detained for more than 10 months.

At around 12 p.m., on August 18, 2005, Ms. Wang was arrested for the second time. At the time, Kong Fanyun, the Deputy Head of the Datun Police Sub-bureau and policemen from Gejiu City forced their way into Ms. Wang's home and took her to Gejiu Detention Center. During the arrest, while the policemen pushed and shoved her, Ms. Wang shouted: "Falun Dafa is good!" In 2006, Ms. Wang was sentenced to five years of imprisonment at the Honghe Intermediate Court and held at the Kunming No. 2 Women's Prison.

In prison, four criminals who had been sentenced to death or life imprisonment watched Ms. Wang. They did not let her practice the exercises and forced her to stand still for a long period of time. They frequently locked her up in a small cell nicknamed the "black hole." She was tied up with both arms pulled sideways and her legs spread apart and was given injections of unknown drugs. The prison guards also mixed drugs into her food and ordered the inmates to pry open her teeth with a spoon and force-feed her.

In February 2007, six months after her arrest, Ms. Wang's family members received a notice from the 610 Office to go to Kunming No. 2 Women's Prison to visit her. When they saw her, they found that she was extremely weak as a result of the torture and required the assistance of two inmates to support her. At the time, she was unable to speak. The policemen forced her to have her fingerprints taken on a document. Ms. Wang refused and pushed the paper away. The policeman lied to her son and daughter-in-law, saying that their mother would be released on bail for medical treatment if she would fingerprint the document. Ms. Wang's son and daughter-in-law then tied her hands and pressed her finger on the paper. However, it was not until May 24, 2007, that Ms. Wang was allowed to be taken back home.

Ms. Wang was extremely weak; she was unable to talk and could not straighten her back. Her eyes were dull and she was very stiff. She could only lie straight in bed or stand bolt upright. Sometimes she is conscious and sometimes she is not. Her behavior is very abnormal. It has been reported that she hasn't said a word in the last six months.

The inhuman torture has brought Ms. Wang and her family irretrievable harm.
