(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Wang Gang's family was finally able to meet Mr. Wang Gang around 9:00 a.m. on August 6, 2007, at the Fourth Division of the Jidong Prison in Tangshan City, Hebei Province. Mr. Wang became disabled as a result of the persecution. Information about Wang Gang's disability has been blocked for two years, and the family did not know of it until they saw him. Wang Gang's right leg was amputated at the high-thigh level. According to the Jidong Prison guards, a physical exam at the time of his transfer between prisons revealed inflammation of an artery in his left leg. The officials withheld this information from him.

After Mr. Wang Gang was disabled at Baoding Prison (Hebei Province No. 1 Prison in Baoding City), the prison officials concealed the information. He had been isolated in solitary confinement and his family deceived. Upon seeing her husband's disability, Wang Gang's wife cried sadly. Although Wang Gang tried hard to make her smile, it did not help. Three guards closely monitored the entire visit.

Mr. Wang Gang, a farmer from Northern China, was sentenced to ten years in prison. He has been detained since 2003, for over five years, simply for following the principles of "Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance." This strong, middle-aged man has been so grossly abused that he has become disabled.

Mr. Wang was carried to a solitary confinement cell at the prison on May 19, 2005. Prison Chief Gao Ying was personally in charge of torturing him. Wang Gang was tied to the bed with three metal bars welded on. He was shackled and handcuffed to the bed. There was a huge belt around his waist. He was forbidden from speaking for the ten days he was held in the solitary confinement cell, where he was given very little water. At around 4:00 a.m. on May 27, 2005, Fan Jianli and Ran Lin from the Prison Affairs Section came to the confinement cell. Fan Jianli said, "Who allowed you to have a blanket under you?" He kicked Wang Gang's right leg and pulled out the blanket under him. Fan Jianli kicked him again and demanded that Wang Gang go to the monitoring room. Wang Gang said his legs hurt, and he could not walk. Fan then ordered others to pull Wang Gang to the outside of the monitoring room and demanded that he go in himself. He had to crawl in. Fan Jianli then kicked him down to the ground and ordered him to leave the room. Wang Gang had to go back and forth three times.

Wang Gang later told the other prison guards what happened. On May 28, 2005, a physical exam revealed that Wang Gang had gangrene in his leg bones, muscles and blood vessels. Without notifying the family, prison Chief Gao Ying then forced Wang Gang to have leg amputation surgery, at the high thigh level. He did not release Wang Gang, nor did he permit the family to visit him.

The family's two recent visitation attempts were denied. Due to the international community's pressure on the prison, and to shirk responsibility and hide the evil guards' criminal behaviors and persecution facts, Baoding Prison officials took the despicable action of transferring Mr. Wang to the Jidong Prison in Hebei Province. It is not difficult to tell that the crime perpetrated at the Baoding Prison is not merely an individual act by former Section Chief Fan Jianli or Prison Chief Gao Ying, it is the systematic crime of the CCP.
