Using Righteous Thoughts to Completely Deny the Old Forces' Arrangements and the Persecution

(Clearwisdom.net) I have recently come to an understanding during Fa-study of what differentiates a human being from a divine being. The difference is whether we, as practitioners, reject the persecution using an everyday person's mentality or with righteous thoughts, and whether we acknowledge or deny the old forces' arrangements. With this enlightenment, I came to better understand the circumstances that some of my fellow practitioners are in and the human notions they hold on to.

I've realized that in order to completely deny the persecution by the old forces, we have to negate the law of the old universe. In particular, we need to eliminate all elements of thinking that benefit ourselves. If we can completely eliminate our selfishness and melt into the Fa, then we will be able to deny the old forces arrangements and the persecution.

Teacher has covered everything in his lectures. In critical moments however, we still doubt or are unsure of the Fa. Isn't this a manifestation of not having faith in Teacher and the Fa? Apparently this is due to a combination of factors, including holding on to an ordinary person's mentality, not cultivating our every human notion and thought, and not realizing the deeper meaning of what Teacher said about "...fundamentally change their way of thinking." (Zhuan Falun) It is also due to not being able to let go of our self-formed set of standards when sharing with other practitioners during Fa-study, or finding excuses in the Fa in order to cover up our human attachments.

It is true that the standard set for oneself is the true display of one's level of cultivation and xinxing, and it is also the difference between a human and a divine being. However, to truly be Fa-rectification period Dafa practitioners, we need to constantly eliminate all of our attachments and completely melt into the Fa. Otherwise, we will not be able to elevate our levels and improve our xinxing.

In summary, my personal understanding is that when we are faced with severe obstacles in cultivation, the critical point is to understand that the tribulations are arranged by the old forces who do not want to acknowledge Teacher's Fa-rectification. Whether or not an ordinary person lost in the world can be saved depends on his or her predestined relationship and behavior in different lifetimes. Correctly positioning ourselves has become a primary factor that determines if sentient beings can be saved. This is also why the evil can still maintain its mere existence. If we all can view today's tribulation from the perspective of the Fa, rather than treating the tribulations and rejecting the persecution using ordinary persons' mindsets, then this persecution will soon end.
