Who Are We Counting On to End the Persecution?

(Clearwisdom.net) Whenever I read about the persecution suffered by a fellow practitioner on Clearwisdom Website, a deep feeling of grief grips my heart. In Fa- rectification, this should be the moment for all Dafa practitioners' consummation and a return to their original status, but the persecution still exists. Why is this? While in deep reflection, I discovered a deep-hidden, terrible attachment, which gives the old forces an excuse to set up even worse tribulations, and that attachment is: Who are we counting on to end this persecution?

From the "4.25" incident before the persecution until today, a number of fellow practitioners hoped that the Prime Minister would prove to be an honest and upright official. They counted on the International Human Rights Organizations, the American government, the CCP Sixteenth Conference, and with each attachment, Dafa and Dafa practitioners suffered more brutal persecution. Each time the situation has deteriorated and has caused unredeemed losses. Now we must awaken to the reality: this most inhuman persecution continues today--is it caused by the attachments that we have? Do we still hope the CCP's Seventeenth Conference, or "Hu & Wen" (the two CCP leaders) will end the persecution and punish evil Jiang Zemin and his accomplices?

Since the establishment of the CCP, its internal strife and fighting have never stopped, and many innocent people have lost their lives because of this. Recently, Hu & Wen removed the Secretary of the City Council of Shanghai, Chen Liangyu, who belonged to Jiang's forces. But this is the result of internal fighting for position and power, not their redress of a grievance for Falun Gong. I remember several years ago, when Hu Jintao was visiting abroad, Dafa practitioners held out banners which stated: "Hu Jintao, the time given to you by Heaven is limited." It was warning him not to take the same road as Jiang Zemin. But when the earthshaking story surfaced about the CCP harvesting organs from living Dafa practitioners for profit, and people all over the world with conscience and a sense of justice were shocked, what did Hu & Wen choose to do? They chose silence in order to keep their positions in the evil regime, and not just that, they took every possible measure to fabricate a cover up, shift the world's attention, and let the most evil acts continue. When faced with this most horrendous crime of organ harvesting, isn't it is an unpardonable sin to choose silence, let alone cover up and conceal the truth?

Master has already made it clear to us the cause of the persecution. Master does not acknowledge the persecution and the old forces, and Dafa practitioners have been clarifying the truth, while resisting the persecution. As Dafa practitioners, we accumulate our virtue through steadfastly opposing the persecution, maturing on the path to consummation. But, because of our human hearts, we hope for this and count on that to actually end the persecution.

Master stated:

"If someone in ordinary society really did restore our Dafa's name, think about it, maybe human beings will do this, but have you thought about this: how high would I have to position that person? Isn't that right? You're cultivators, and all changes come from your cultivation and the Fa-rectification; everything that you yourselves validate and enlighten to, and everything that you'll receive, all this comes from what you have done on your path. Absolutely don't think about any favors the old forces might do for us, or about how the ordinary society might help us. You are the ones saving the ordinary people's society, and you are the ones saving sentient beings!" (Teaching the Fa at the 2002 Fa Conference in Philadelphia, U.S.A.)
