(Clearwisdom.net) August 17 is Independence Day in Indonesia. Falun Gong practitioners from Batam and Singapore participated in local celebrations in the city of Batam.

Practitioners passed out many truth-clarification materials and paper lotus flowers during the parade. Many spectators asked for the contact information of exercise sites.

Practitioners gave a special waist drum performance for the VIPs. One practitioner gave materials to the mayor and other government officials. The host of the parade introduced Falun Gong to the spectators.

The parade and the celebration ended at 5 p.m.
