Finland: People Learn the Truth and Denounce the Chinese Communist Party (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) On August 11, 2007, from 10:00 a.m to 4:00 p.m. under the scorching sun, Falun Gong practitioners held an activity in Esplanade Park in central Helsinki. The activity was to expose the atrocities committed by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) in their persecution of Falun Gong over the past eight years. The practitioners emphasized the CCP's harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners to make quick profits, and their destruction of all evidence by cremating the victims' bodies.

In summer, Finland is a major sightseeing destination for tourists from all around the world. On this day, the park was crowded with foreign tourists as well as local people. The Falun Gong practitioners distributed leaflets and put up banners and posters exposing the horrifying persecution that practitioners in China have been subjected to over the past eight years for believing in "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance." Many people signed the petition calling for an end to the persecution.

An elderly couple from the US, upon accepting flyers from a practitioner, said that they had seen many Falun Gong practitioners when they were in the US and they had learned the truth about Falun Gong. They also said that the Olympic Games should not be held in Beijing if the CCP does not stop persecuting Falun Gong.

A Finnish man passed by the posters and said to a practitioner: "I have read a book about Mao Zedong. I know that the Communist Party has done many bad things. The persecution of Falun Gong is another crime of the Communist regime."

Three tourists from Italy accepted flyers in English. One said, "We know about Falun Gong. They are a special group of people and they are very nice. We know that the CCP has committed many bad things and is persecuting Falun Gong." They shook hands with the practitioner before they left and said, "The persecution will stop soon."

Two Spanish tourists, a grandfather and grandson, told a practitioner that they knew about Falun Gong and the CCP's persecution of Falun Gong. They said that the CCP must stop the persecution if they want to hold the Olympic Games in Beijing.

After talking to a practitioner, a Finnish lady said to a Chinese practitioner: "I hope the Chinese people will be free soon, so that you can go home freely."

A Finnish young man, learning about the CCP's eight-year persecution of Falun Gong and its harvesting of organs form living Falun Gong practitioners, took many Chinese materials placed on the table, including the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party and information about quitting the CCP and its affiliated organizations, as well as a Falun Gong booklet. He said that a Chinese colleague of his had said ill things about Falun Gong to him, but he knew that he was wrong. He planned to ask him to read the information and learn the truth.

Many Chinese tourists passed by the park and accepted informational materials. When practitioners told them that twenty-five million people had quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations, they indicated that they would read the materials to learn more. The practitioner urged them to read the Nine Commentaries carefully and quit the CCP as soon as possible.
