Evil Interference Eliminated with Righteous Thoughts in Three Hours

(Clearwisdom.net) On the night of July 7, 2007, I had a nightmare: several leeches were attached to my hands and feet. I tried hard to pull them off but could not. I was scared. After I woke up I did not feel good about this dream. I told myself to get ready for trouble.

The trouble came immediately. The next evening on July 8, I sat in the audience to watch the Global Chinese Dance Competition in New York City. Suddenly I felt a chill inside my entire body. Soon, my back felt numb and my head felt heavy; my arms and legs felt very weak. I could not sit through the spectacular performances.

I knew clearly that this was an attack from the evil factors. They took advantage of my loopholes. I wanted to take a nap, but soon I felt very cold and had to cover myself with a heavy blanket in the middle of the hot summer. An hour later I developed a high fever. When I urinated, my teeth rattled, and my hands and feet trembled. I could not even walk normally. It looked like the old forces wanted to destroy me.

I have been a Dafa practitioner for many years. I absolutely could not let disease karma interfere with and persecute me. I suddenly recalled Master's poem, "Should you have fear,
it will seize upon you
If thoughts are righteous,
evil will collapse
The cultivator's mind
is loaded with Fa
Send righteous thoughts,
and rotten demons explode
Gods walk the earth,
validating the Fa." ("What's to Fear?" "Hongyin" II)

I immediately gathered all my strength, endured all the pain, and sat up straight. Then I got rid of all the impure thoughts in my mind and imagined myself being a god standing up between heaven and earth, as one who possesses the power to destroy all evil. Then I focused all my attention and sent forth righteous thoughts. I asked Master to give me power and completely eliminate all the dark minions, rotten demons and all other evil elements.

A moment after this, I felt a huge relief in body and mind. At 11:50 p.m. I joined the rest of my family to send forth righteous thoughts again. I felt much better and fell asleep. The alarm clock woke me at 3:40 a.m. I then did all five sets of exercises with my husband. After we sent forth righteous thoughts at 6:00 a.m., I was completely recovered. My heart was full of gratitude to Master and Dafa.

This experience gave me a deeper understanding of Master's teaching: "good or evil comes from a person's spontaneous thought." ("Lecture Four" in Zhuan Falun, 2000 translation version)

My initial attempt to "interpret the dream" was a human thought that gave the evil a loophole to attack. That caused me to suffer persecution for three hours. I have realized that when evil interference comes, we should immediately realize what it is and deny it completely; we also should gather all our strength to send forth righteous thoughts. With Master's empowerment, we will be able to eliminate and dissolve the evil.
