Many Falun Gong Practitioners Were Forcefully Taken Away by Police in Fuping County, Hebei Province

(Clearwisdom.net) At 7 p.m. on July 31, Falun Gong practitioner Yuan Guihua and her son-in-law and niece who were non-practitioners were forcefully taken away when they were having dinner. Their residence was ransacked without a search warrant. The lawless personnel were Zhai Xiangyu who was the deputy chief of Fuping County Police Department in Baoding City, Hebei Province and Zhang Jinghui from the national security division. They led twenty to thirty people to ransack the house and took away a few units of photocopiers, Master Li's portrait, Falun Gong books, many copies of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party and lots of truth clarifying materials. The things they took away filled up two cars. Yuan Guihua's son-in-law was released on that very same night. The niece is still being held to this day and her whereabouts are unknown.

On the same night, the police arrested Mr. Gu Qiang when he was driving home. Then they brought him to his residence to ransack his house. They took away his computer, printer, Falun Gong books and the bank book that had two thousand yuan. The computer and printer in his car were also taken away. When Mr. Gu was dragged to the car to be taken away, he was already beaten up so badly that he was spitting white foam and his heart was beating extremely fast and he was unconscious. Under the strong demand from his family, he was sent to the hospital. On August 4, when he recovered slightly they took him away to the county detention center.

Thereafter, Mr. Zhao Zongran was surrounded by a dozen plain-clothes police officers. They arrested him and ransacked his residence. They took away his computer, printer and Falun Gong books. During the ransack, they even searched the pockets of the clothing in his house. At the same time they also took away his brother-in-law who was a non-practitioner and was present in his house (currently released).

At 10 p.m. these lawless personnel went on to arrest Ms. Ji and Ms. Zhao Fengzhen who was visiting her. They took away the computer, printer and Falun Gong books. Zhang Jinghui sent them to Laiyuan County in Baoding City. Along the way they shouted, "Falun Dafa is great." Currently both of them were released but Ms. Ji was extorted 11,000 yuan.

At 10 p.m. twenty to thirty plain-clothes police officers came to Ms. Zhang Lianfen's house to arrest her but she was not home.

Yuan Guihua was sent to Baoding Forced Labor Camp but they refused to accept her. She was then sent to Dingzhou and waited for two days, but they did not accept her either. She was then sent to Fuping County Detention Center. Practitioners Gu Qiang and Zhao Zongran were currently detained at the county detention center. Yuan Guihua and Zhao Zongran had been on hunger strike to protest the persecution. As a result they were force-fed. The police announced that they wanted to sentence them to imprisonment.

We hope that human rights groups will pay attention to this and help to urge the Communist regime to stop the persecution of Falun Gong and release all Falun Gong practitioners without conditions.
