The Crimes Committed in the Harbin Women's Forced Labor Camp

(Clearwisdom.net) In 2002, I was illegally sentenced and detained in the Harbin Women's Forced Labor Camp of Heilongjiang Province. At the end of November 2002, the guards assembled all the determined Falun Dafa practitioners who refused to accept transformation, and sent them to a gloomy, damp, and smelly basement for torture.

The guards first shocked the practitioners with electric batons, which left them with blue and purple bruises on their bodies. They then started to punch and kick the practitioners. Many practitioners could not even stand up after the beating.

The guards deprived practitioners of coats, shoes, and socks, and forced them to stand on the cold concrete floor. The guards placed a bucket of icy water under the buttocks of each practitioner. When they could no longer stand it, they would then be forced to sit in the icy water. In the bitter winter months in Harbin, the cold wind would chill them to the bone. The practitioners' legs were limp from the exposure to the cold.

There was another brutal torture that is rarely heard of. The guards shut some practitioners into dark confinement rooms. The practitioners were only allowed to wear their underwear, and they were barefoot, with their hands tied behind their backs and crouched on the floor. They shined a bright light of 200 watts over their heads day and night. Their entire face, including their mouths and eyes, were covered with yellow tape, exposing only the nose. Their eyebrows and hair were shaved, and no one could recognize each other.

Many practitioners were detained in bathrooms and were not allowed to drink or eat outside.

The above were what I witnessed personally in the labor camp. These are the crimes the CCP has committed against Falun Dafa practitioners.
