A Thought after Hearing a Non-Practitioner Clarify the Truth
By a practitioner in China
(Clearwisdom.net) Today when I was going out to do
truth-clarification work, I saw a middle-aged man whom I assumed was
a construction worker based upon how he was dressed. We were riding our bicycles
side by side and I was clarifying the truth to him. He said that the CCP is
extremely corrupt and should be destroyed, and that he had withdrawn his CCP
membership already. I asked him, "Did Falun Gong practitioners help you to
quit the CCP?" He was so proud to tell me that his wife is a Falun Gong
practitioner and performs activities for saving people daily, including printing
truth-clarification materials at home. I reminded him not to tell anyone casually that his wife was preparing
materials. Then he said to me seriously, "What is there to fear ? If every
Dafa practitioner had no attachment to fear, the persecution would have ended a
long time ago." Listening to his words, a feeling of respect rose up from the bottom of my
heart. A non-practitioner, undergoing persecution daily, can reach such a
position of clarifying the truth. However, many fellow practitioners could not
venture forth to clarify the truth because of their attachments to fear. I
respect my fellow practitioner even more, the wife of this construction
worker--she has done so well. Through this story, I have seen my own
shortcomings. From now on I will study the Fa more, study well,
handle family affairs with compassion, and do the three things
Master requires of us well.
