Bian Baoli and His Son Bian Jing from Qitaihe City, Heilongjiang Province Illegally Sentenced to Forced Labor

(Clearwisdom.net) On April 17, 2007, Falun Dafa practitioner Bian Jing from Boli County, Qitaihe City, Heilongjiang Province was illegally arrested by Communist Party officers. That night, policemen ransacked Bian Jing's home and took away his father, Bian Baoli. They also harassed Bian Jing's grandmother. (See http://www.clearwisdom.net/emh/articles/2007/7/20/87846.html)

Bian Baoli and his son Bian Jing were interrogated in turn, and were not allowed to sleep for two days. The condition in the detention center is very bad. It is dark and cold, and only two meals are given each day--at 7:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Every meal is comprised of moldy millet, a piece of steamed sponge cake and cabbage soup without a drop of oil, but with mud and worms. Without enough food and suffering both mental and physical torture, Bian Jing, who is only twenty years old, suffered loose bowels and experiences a relapse of symptoms of his former illnesses. (He suffered from heart disease and asthma but recovered after he practiced Falun Dafa.)

Bian Baoli suffered from many kinds of illnesses before cultivation, including early onset of arteriosclerosis, a fatty liver and hypertension, but was cured after he practiced Falun Dafa. More miraculously, small stones about the size of yellow rice that grew on the skin of his lower back fell off. Falun Dafa brought his family unlimited happiness. But the healthy Bian Baoli was persecuted to the point of relapse to his old illnesses. The right part of his brain became numb and he was not able to use his left leg well when walking. His whole body was out of shape, and he lost several dozen pounds.

In this condition, Bian Baoli, Bian Jing and another practitioner, Chu Wenquan, were each sentenced to forced labor for a year and a half. On the morning of June 28, without notification to family members, the three were secretly sent to the Suihua Forced Labor Camp. Officials at the Qitaihe Police Station feared that the camp would refuse to accept the three practitioners if their health condition did not meet the requirements, so police in the legal system section escorted them to the labor camp and made the arrangements.

Other practitioners in Boli County were also persecuted. On May 9, practitioner Chu Wenquan had just finished her work day when she was taken away by Gao Yunjun, deputy director of the Boli County Police Station. Gao ransacked Ms. Chu's home and stole 1,000 yuan that Ms. Chu had saved for her daughter. Gao said sarcastically, "You do not need money for living expenses when you practice Falun Gong. Just drinking the northwest wind is enough." When her parents divorced several years before, Ms. Chu's daughter lived with her father. She is now a freshman in high school. A high-achieving student, she earned first place in the liberal arts final. Learning of her misfortune, school administrators did not sympathize but instead forced her to write a guarantee statement renouncing Falun Dafa. Her father was also arrested, and now she lives alone, hoping her father will return soon.

Practitioner Mr. Kong Lingjin from Boli County, about 56 or 57 years old, was sentenced on December 20, 2005 to forced labor for two years. He was sent to the Suihua Forced Labor Camp, and now has high blood pressure and is losing his eyesight. Even so, officials will not release him.

Practitioner Ms. Ding Libo from Boli County, 45 years old, was detained at Harbin Drug Rehabilitation Center. She now has heart disease and has been in critical condition many times. Her family did not know the truth about Falun Dafa because of the CCP's lies, and did not like to visit her there.

We call for help from international organizations to urge the CCP to stop the persecution immediately and release all Falun Dafa practitioners.
