Chinese Cultural Freedom Organization Stages Event During APEC Summit to Draw Attention to the Plight of Falun Gong Practitioners Suffering in China

(Clearwisdom.net) According to a report in the Epoch Times, Mr. Yuan Hongbing of the Chinese Cultural Freedom organization announced that they would stage an event during the APEC Summit (Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation) from September 2-9, 2007 to bring attention to the plight of Falun Gong in China. The purpose is to end the CCP tyranny and genocidal persecution of Falun Gong as soon as possible and call the entire human race to pay attention to the miserable pain suffered by practitioners in China.

Mr. Yuan expressed that the hardship Falun Gong has been enduring is a test of human conscience. The political persecution towards Falun Gong is the shame of the 21st century. Each day the persecution continues is another day the human conscience cannot rest

The theme of the week-long activity is, "For the honor of humanity, we need to stop the huge political persecution against Falun Gong."

Mr. Wang Zhiwen was a volunteer liaison of the Beijing Falun Dafa Research Association. After the persecution of Falun Gong began in 1999, he was arrested by the CCP government and sentenced to 16 years in prison on December 26, 1999. He is still detained today. His daughter Wang Xiaodan is living in the State of Texas and has been trying to rescue her father.
