FTV News (Taiwan): Beijing Olympic Games to Bar Entry to Forty-three Types of People
(Clearwisdom.net) On August 2, Taiwan FTV News reported that the Chinese
Communist regime will implement a tight censoring program to keep unwanted
foreigners and athletes out the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. Reportedly,
classified into 11 categories, 43 types of people who have criticized the
Chinese Communist regime in the past will not be able to attend the Games. A Taiwan Legislative Member commented that this strategy of the party is to
suppress dissidents. He appealed to the international community to boycott the
Beijing Olympic Games. According to the harsh standard set by the communist
regime, many people who have criticized the regime will not be allowed to enter
China, even if they are participating athletes or Olympic officials. The report said that Falun Gong practitioners will lunch a Human Rights Torch
Relay project and the torch will be lit for the first time in Athens on August 9
in order to urge the world to see the suppressive nature of the Chinese
Communist regime.
