Practitioner Ms. Wang Lan Detained in Chongqing Women's Prison - Her Family Has Had No Communication from Her in Over Six Months

(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Wang Lan, 42, is from Chongqing City. She was sentenced to seven years in prison by the CCP. She is now detained in the Chongqing Women's Prison in Yongchuan City. While in prison, Ms. Wang became severely anemic due to torture. Her hematin level is only at 5 g. Her family has not heard from her in over six months and they are very concerned.

In 2005, Ms. Wang made a solemn statement that the actions and words she was forced to make in prison were invalid. Since then the guards in the second prison ward put her under intense control, including withholding all letters, banning phone calls to home, and prohibiting her from obtaining water and getting food from downstairs.

Ms. Wang's husband, Mr. Chen Qi, is also a Falun Dafa practitioner and was sentenced to 12 years in prison by the CCP. He is being detained in the Chongqing Prison in Danzishi, Nanan City. Their young son is being raised by Mr. Chen's parents, both of whom are over 70 years old. To support their grandson, they both have to work.
