Unconventional Methods of Torture Used on Falun Dafa Practitioners in Binjiang Prison, Chengdu City, Sichuan Province

(Clearwisdom.net) Binjiang Prison is the former Chuansi Women's Prison, situated in Dabao Village, the Longquanzhai District, Chengdu City. This prison uses unconventional methods to torture practitioners. The guards in this prison do not beat or reprimand practitioners, but determined practitioners are confined to a small room. If they refuse to accept "transformation," they will be cut off from all contact with the outside world and will not be allowed to contact anyone but the police guards that are "helping to educate" them. The guards use their deceptive and corrupt notions to wear down the will of the determined practitioners and make them give up their righteous belief so they will accept "transformation." In prison, those that do not accept "transformation" are not allowed to read any Dafa books. If one accepts "transformation," he or she can read Dafa books that have been stamped by the CCP.

Practitioner Ms. Li Xiaoyu, a former teacher at Xiebei Elementary School in Chengdu City, is still detained in the third prison ward because of her determination in her belief in Dafa. She has not been allowed to be in contact with anyone from the outside world.

Practitioner Ms. Zhu Yifang from Guangyuan City is still being detained in the sixth ward of the prison. Because of her steadfast belief in Dafa, her family members have not been allowed to visit her. Ms. Zhu was first detained in Guangyuan Detention Center and brutally tortured. She was transferred to prison in an ambulance and carried in on a stretcher. Because she went on a hunger strike to protest the torture, she has become very thin. Her legs are not any thicker than her arms. Another practitioner detained in the sixth ward is Ms. Tang Dan from Chongqing City. She is about 27 or 28 years old. She has been repeatedly mistreated since the persecution began in 1999, has been detained for three years, and is now being illegally sentenced to five years in prison.

The methods that this prison uses to torture practitioners are very subtle and not easily recognizable. This method of isolating practitioners from the outside world for long periods of time results in their developing a distorted reliance on the guards.

Please send forth powerful righteous thoughts to strengthen the will of fellow practitioners and completely deny the arrangement of the old forces, so that practitioners can walk well on the path of Fa-rectification arranged by Master and escape from this evil den as soon as possible.
