Sweden: Promoting the Fa at Places of Interest, Falun Gong Is Highlighted in Stockholm (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) On August 18-19, 2007, Falun Gong practitioners made use of their weekend to demonstrate the five sets of exercises and display "truth clarification" photo boards at the famous Vasa Warship Museum in Stockholm from 9:00 in the morning to 1:00 in the afternoon. They wanted to introduce Falun Gong and clarify the facts to tourists from all over the world. They also wanted to expose the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) atrocity of harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners, and the cruel persecution of Falun Gong that has lasted for over eight years in China. They told the Chinese people from China about the campaign to promote quitting the CCP and its associated organizations that was inspired by the publication of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party.

The Vasa Warship Museum is one of the most popular places of interest in Stockholm, attracting tourists from around the world and local people in an endless stream. Because Falun Gong practitioners spent their weekend introducing Falun Gong and clarifying the facts there, there was another unique sight. No matter who passed by, whether they were visitors waiting in line at the entrance or others, all turned their eyes to Falun Gong, and stopped to watch. "Falun Gong," "Falun Gong" was heard among the crowds of people. People took many photos and videos. Some stood in their original places and did the exercises by imitating practitioners.

While waiting in line, a tall Western guide introduced what he knew about Falun Gong in English to his guests. He said that he had seen Falun Gong demonstrations in many countries. He said, "This practice is very good for one's health but it is banned in China and is seriously persecuted." When he mentioned the terrible human rights conditions in China, he shook his head. His guests said, one after another, "Falun Gong is really terrific! We should call on the international community to work together to end this cruel atrocity!" He reminded his guests to make good use of their time and then meet at the same place in a specified amount of time. Those who were interested had the opportunity to learn about Falun Gong.

After hearing a brief introduction about Falun Gong and getting a truth-clarification flyer, one middle-aged lady from Russia said with delight, "This is really good! I will read them carefully when I get home."

As soon as he finished his visit to the museum, a middle-aged man from northeast China started talking with practitioners. He said, "I know Falun Gong, because one of my friends practices it. Practitioners are all good people. I have watched the disc clarifying the facts about the self-immolation on Tiananmen Square. After seeing it, I understood everything. I can't imagine what the CCP has done!" He declared that he had never joined any CCP organizations. When he heard that more than 25 million people have quit the CCP, he was quite happy, hoping that the day when the CCP is eliminated will come as soon as possible.

In these two days, young practitioners also came here promoting the Fa and clarifying the facts. Some demonstrated the five sets of exercises and some distributed copies of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party and other truth-clarifying materials to precious Chinese people.

One practitioner said, "As a Falun Gong practitioner, it is our responsibility and mission to clarify the facts about the persecution. The evil CCP has been doing everything evil, persecuting Falun Gong, and even removing organs from living Falun Gong practitioners. The CCP is guilty of monstrous crimes and incurs the wrath of God and the anger of men. It is inevitable that God will destroy it. We are here to call on all the world's people to listen to their conscience. At the same time, we tell precious Chinese people to break away from the evil Party as soon as possible so that they will have a peaceful and good future. If they still follow the evil Party, their future is bleak."
