Previously Arrested to Meet a "Quota" and Tortured, Injured Practitioner Mr. Yang Jicheng from Dalian City Again Arrested

(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Yang Jicheng, from the Ganjingzi District in Dalian City, Liaoning Province, was arrested and taken to Dalian Forced Labor Camp again. Just one month after his arrest, Mr. Yang's leg injuries began worsening. Deputy Division Chief Dong (male) from the No. 8 Division of the labor camp told Mr. Yang's family, who asked to visit him, that the camp officials would ensure that Mr. Yang was taken to the hospital for an examination, but Mr. Yang's family was not allowed to visit him.

During his previous arrest, Mr. Yang Jicheng was tortured so brutally in Dalian Forced Labor Camp that his legs were almost paralyzed. His legs did not begin to recover until he was released on medical parole. His family members said that they would investigate the legal and moral responsibilities of the guards and labor camp inmates who participated in persecuting Mr. Yang Jicheng when the opportunity arises. No matter how long the process takes, they plan to investigate the matter thoroughly and seek justice on behalf of Mr. Yang Jicheng.

Mr. Yang was illegally arrested another time when he went to Beijing to appeal for justice for Falun Gong on June 6, 2007. He was taken to the Ganjingzi District Police Station in Dalian and was later sent to Dalian Forced Labor Camp, where he again was persecuted.

In May 2002, the local police "illegally sentenced" Mr. Yang and his brother to a forced labor camp in order to meet a "quota" that had been set by the Communist Party to persecute Dafa practitioners. The two brothers were imprisoned in Dalian Forced Labor Camp, and their mother was detained in Majiashan Forced Labor Camp in Shenyang City. Mr. Yang Jicheng was tortured so badly in the camp that his legs were severely injured after two years of detention. The guards were afraid of being held responsible, so he was released. Mr. Yang was nothing but skin and bones at the time of his release and was mentally traumatized due to the prolonged torture.

Mr. Yang Jicheng's ability to work and his mental state have been severely affected, and he has not completely recovered. He can barely walk unaided and is also facing tremendous financial difficulties because he cannot work and has no income.
