Norway: Members of the Public Sign Petitions Condemning the Chinese Communist Party's Persecution of Falun Gong One after Another (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) On September 2, 2007, Falun Gong practitioners gathered at a busy square in central Oslo. They displayed banners reading "Falun Gong is Good," "Stop Persecuting Falun Gong," "The World Needs Truthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance" and display boards depicting Falun Gong's spread around the world, as well as facts about the persecution perpetrated by the Chinese Communist regime in China. They also distributed leaflets in various languages and demonstrated the five Falun Gong exercises. The tranquil traditional-style Chinese exercise music and peaceful exercises attracted a lot of attention. People accepted the leaflets and stopped to view the performances one after another. Some asked for further information about the cultivation practice and the on-going persecution. The practitioners talked with many people about topics ranging from the Chinese Communist regime's persecution of Falun Gong to inside stories about the Chinese regime's harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners and the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)'s intrinsic evil nature and the necessity of calling for an end to the persecution. Upon hearing that such a magnificent cultivation practice is being suppressed by the Chinese Communist regime, people felt that it was inconceivable and signed the petition against the persecution and condemned the Chinese Communist regime's atrocities.

A young woman took pictures of all of the display boards, banners and practitioners demonstrating the Falun Gong exercises. The colorful paper lotus flowers and bookmarks distributed by practitioners were popular. A woman liked the lotus flowers so much that when a practitioner handed a flower to her, she seriously said that she would like to sign the petition first since it was very important. Afterwards, she told practitioners that she would tell what she now knows to her family members and friends, so that more people are able to know about the real human rights situation in China.

After viewing a demonstration of the exercises, many showed their interest in learning them right away. Some learned the movements by themselves at a distance. After asking a practitioner to teach him the fifth set of the exercises, a handsome youngster sat for quite a long time, as he clearly felt the strong and wonderful energy field. Finally, he left happily after collecting all of the relevant information about Falun Gong.

An elderly couple from Norway told the practitioners that they are fond of traveling. They said they have came across Falun Gong practitioners in many countries, and that they knew this cultivation practice is very good and is practiced by many people. They also expressed their admiration for Falun Gong practitioners' courage. They added, "I know that all of you are very serious about this matter, and you are really wonderful. It is unwise for the Chinese Communist regime to persecute Falun Gong." Finally, they encouraged Falun Gong practitioners to persevere so as to stop the persecution.

There were also many tourists from China there. They were shocked to see the activities. On learning that Falun Gong is popular in almost every country around the world and China is the only country that has banned Falun Gong, they were wondering the reason. Some viewed the display boards quietly; some were deep in thought; still others happily accepted the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party and expressed that they would read it thoroughly after getting home. Only a few of those who have long been brainwashed by the CCP turned away on the spot while the practitioners patiently explained to them the huge wave of withdrawing from the CCP and its affiliated organizations. Seeing this scenario, a female tour leader said with a smile: "Since they are government officials, they are afraid of being punished after returning to China if they accept the material. In fact, they like to read it. You just give me some more copies, and I'll distribute the material to them. They are really pitiful as they don't have the guts to accept it."

Seeing the reaction from these Chinese people who have been deceived by the CCP culture, the Falun Gong practitioners further enlightened to the seriousness of their responsibilities. Peter, a practitioner from Norway, stated, "From now on, I'll persist in telling people the facts about Falun Gong and the persecution, so as to expose the evil nature of the CCP. I hope that more sentient beings deceived by the Chinese Communist regime can be saved and that more and more deceived Chinese can wake up and quit the CCP as soon as possible so as to have bright futures."
