Rhode Island, USA: Practitioners Participate in Dragon Boat Festival and Taiwan Day Celebration in Pawtucket (Photos)


(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Dafa practitioners from Rhode Island recently participated in the Pawtucket, Rhode Island Dragon Boat Festival, which is part of the Pawtucket Arts Festival. Many people of all ages stopped by to learn to fold beautiful paper lotus flowers to take home. An exhibit of paintings by Falun Dafa practitioners around the world also attracted many visitors.

Some of the paintings drew their inspiration from the spiritual cultivation practice itself, and displayed its beauty. Others depicted aspects of the brutal persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners for the last eight years in China, showing the noble compassion and tolerance of those being persecuted. Many viewers expressed shock and outrage at the severity of the persecution, and that it is still ongoing. Visitors were impressed by the beauty and power of the images.
