Clarifying the Truth at the Salt Lake City Avenues Street Fair (Photo)

(Clearwisdom.net) On September 8, 2007, Falun Dafa practitioners from Utah, USA participated in the Salt Lake City Avenues Street Fair to promote Falun Dafa and clarify the truth about the persecution of Falun Gong in China.

A passerby learns more about the persecution in China

Many Chinese people came to the fair to learn more about Falun Gong. One man who recently arrived in America listened to the truth-clarification. He nodded his head and said that these facts couldn't be seen in China. A practitioner told him to value the freedom of being abroad and learn more of what was happening in the world. The man took out his camera to take some photos of the Falun Dafa booth, the truth-clarification display boards, and a western practitioners practicing the Falun Gong exercises. While talking about the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party, he said he had already received some emails and he would read them after he went back. He said he dared not to openly announce quitting the CCP because he might be jailed after going back to China. The practitioner told him that he could use an alias. He replied, "I have so much fear in my heart. I dare not sign even with an alias." He left, but after a while, he returned to the booth and asked a western practitioner what he felt after practicing Falun Gong. The western practitioner talked with him and also urged him to quit the CCP and analyzed the evil nature of the CCP. Another practitioner smiled and said, "Even the westerners know the nature of the Communist Party so clearly, because they have read the Nine Commentaries." When he was leaving, the man said he would seriously think about quitting the CCP.

A young Chinese man came to the booth. A practitioner showed him truth-clarification pictures and talked to him. He listened but didn't say anything. In the end, the practitioner gave him a copy of the Nine Commentaries. The young man quickly took it and said he would read it carefully.

Some westerners came to the booth and learned the truth. Some of them invited the practitioners to attend their activities to let more people to learn the truth.
