Savage Acts in Daqing Prison: Practitioners' Clothes Are Torn and Burned, Their Heads Shaved, They Are Put in Solitary Confinement

(Clearwisdom.net) Guards and inmates at Daqing Prison in Heilongjiang Province are cruelly persecuting practitioners who are illegally detained there. The abuse includes having their clothes torn and burned, their heads shaved, being beaten, and being put in solitary confinement. Family members are also not allowed to visit them.

At the beginning of August, a rule was made that practitioners were not allowed out in the fresh air. Criminal inmates are placed beside every practitioner to monitor his activities.

On August 7, practitioner Li Ronghong, who is from Jiamusi and detained in the 2nd section, protested the rule because he wanted to go outside for fresh air. The deputy head of the 2nd section, Zhu Wenwu, did not allow him out. Li Ronghong did not cooperate. He ran to the first floor and shouted, "Falun Dafa is good!" Li Weilong, the director of the Political Office, put him in solitary confinement.

On August 14, the prison warden, Wang Yongxiang, personally ordered the torture of Li Ronghong.

Practitioners had their clothes torn from their bodies and burned, and they were held down and had their heads shaved. After that, they were put into small closets and beaten. They are not allowed out of the cell door. During the summer, even though it was over 30 degrees Celsius, the practitioners were crammed in a cell no more than several dozen meters square with more than 100 criminal inmates. Many people experienced heat exhaustion as a result.

Practitioner Xiao Tao was injured because he went outside and was sent to solitary confinement. Practitioner Li Ronghong had his clothes torn from his body and was put in solitary confinement.

Daqing Prison staff force practitioners to wear prison clothes and have their heads shaved. On August 15, practitioner Wang Yudong was beaten to the ground by guard Li Weilong and other criminal inmates. His clothes were burned. He was then held to the ground and his head was shaved. Then he was sent to solitary confinement. Li Weilong made many scars on Wang Yudong's body. Practitioner Sui Yaoming's clothes were torn, and he was put in solitary confinement. The same thing also happened to other unknown practitioners. Practitioner Wang Jiang was beaten and his ribs were broken some time ago. Now the wound has festered and the bone is exposed. The prison doesn't treat him and does not allow his family to visit him. His family's request was rejected when they asked that he be treated outside of prison.

Practitioners who are detained in other sections are tortured, too. Now the practitioners in Daqing Prison cannot contact each other. Other practitioners' situations are being investigated now.

We appeal to all the families of the practitioners who are detained in Daqing Prison: Go to visit them as soon as possible to find out what is happening to them and publicize it.
