(Clearwisdom.net) Sometimes things happen and appear accidental but they are not. Things happen because of predestined relationships. The mystery in that can only be understood by cultivators of Falun Gong. Those events are the results of Master's compassionate arrangements. I would like to share my story.

On Monday afternoon, two friends of mine, husband and wife, came to visit me from a thousand miles away. After the exchanging pleasantries for a few minutes, we talked about the weather. I took that opportunity to tell them about the snow in June on Ling Shou Mountain after the death from torture of practitioner Zuo Zhigang. He said, "Oh, are you a Falun Gong sympathizer?" I said, "No, I am a Falun Gong practitioner."

She said, "Don't practice that. It is not good! The Tiananmen self-immolation ..."

I told them the truth about the staged Tiananmen Self-Immolation Incident. They understood that it was fabricated by Jiang's faction to slander Falun Gong and instigate hatred. I told them that more than 25 million people have quit the Communist Party and its affiliated organizations and persuaded them to do the same. Both of them quit the Party with their real names. I continued to talk to them about the changes I experienced both physically and mentally after practicing Falun Gong. In addition, I gave them cards with words good words about Dafa on them and related stories to them of how reciting "Falun Dafa is good! Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance is good!" could be beneficial to them.

Before I finished my talking, she asked, "Where can I buy that book? I want to learn."

I said, "The authorities burn all the books and establish brainwashing centers because they are so afraid that ordinary people will find out the truth about Falun Gong. Nowadays it is very difficult to find this book. However, you are very lucky because I just got a new book. Since you are very serious about it, I'll give it to you as a gift!"

She said, "No, I have to pay you for it."

I said, "The saying goes that for the predestined people, it is free. Otherwise, one cannot have it, even for ten thousand yuan. I hope you cherish this book."

She held the book with two hands in front of her chest and said sincerely,"Yes, I will cherish it and learn it well!"

Her husband anxiously said, "Do you have one more? I want to learn, too." She and I looked at his anxious face and said, "Two people can read the same book."

I gave him a copy of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party and told them that they should read it in order to really understand the true nature of the Communist Party.

The two wanted to stay in a hotel for the night, but I had them at my home so that I could clarify the truth to them more. Later I took them to the best seafood restaurant in the city for dinner. I was very generous and they were very satisfied. For myself, I only ordered what I thought was appropriate for a cultivator.

When we got back home, it was 9:00 p.m.. I told them that it was indeed a rare opportunity for them to visit me and, perhaps, we should watch a CD instead of regular TV. Together we watched more than two hours of a truth-clarifying CD. After they understood the truth, they reminded me to help them quit the Party with their real names. The wife said to me, "It is really strange. I normally fall asleep whenever I watch any program. Tonight, I watched Falun Gong and did not feel sleepy at all. I think that Falun Gong is really miraculous. I want to practice it, but how?"

I took out the exercise videotape and showed it to them. They followed Master and learned the first exercise. They were really serious and had a good understanding. After they learned the first set, they stopped and said, "One set a day."

When I gave them The Great Way of Spiritual Perfection and a CD of Master teaching the exercises, they were very happy--as if they had gotten some rare treasures.

I was happy for them because they had found the way to return to their true selves. Meanwhile, I felt that Master was right next to me. When it was getting late, they were still not tired and I answered their many questions related to practicing Falun Gong and truth-clarification. I also explained to them how to apply the Fa principles in our everyday lives. However, I told them,"What I said is only my personal understanding. You need to read the book diligently, because the answers to all your questions are in the book. Studying the book is the most important thing and the exercises are only supplementary."

When it was almost midnight, I urged them to go to bed because they had to take a train for an entire day to get home.

The following morning, the wife said, "I have never slept so well, and neither has my husband. We slept better here than at our own home! Right after he opened his eyes, he said, 'Falun Gong is really good and the CCP is very evil.'"

When the husband saw me, he said, "See, I have the Dafa card with me."

When we were at the train station and ready to say good-by, the wife held my hand as if we were relatives. They said again and again that after they got home and had settled down a little, they wanted to come again and stay for a few days.

After seeing them off, I went home and finished my task and nothing was delayed.

While reflecting on this truth-clarifying experience, I again realized what Master mentioned before:

"For example, you don't have to talk too deep, but you need to listen. Don't mind what the ordinary people say but stay clearheaded. Clarify the truth thoroughly and get rid of the confusion in their minds. Your heart should be with the Fa, get rid of the interference, don't pursue, stay calm, don't be afraid or get too excited. Your goal is to clarify the truth. Pursue nothing and gain naturally...People with predestined relationships and those who can be saved can be made to--made to by Master's Law Bodies, righteous gods, or the immense field that Dafa has formed in the world--appear right before you in any of a range of settings, providing them with a chance to learn the truth. But you have to carry it out, and it doesn't work if you're not out there doing things" ("Teaching the Fa at the Fa Conference at the U.S. Capital")

Just imagine if, when my friend said that Falun Gong was not good, I had stopped clarifying the truth to them and thought that they were not worth saving. I would have lost the opportunity to save them. I was not moved by her words. This entire event let me understand the meaning of:

"Compassion can harmonize Heaven and Earth, ushering in spring.
Righteous thoughts can save the people in this world."
