(Clearwisdom.net) National Ilan Commercial Vocational High School welcomed new students and introduced student organizations at a presentation on September 12, 2007. The Falun Gong Organization took the opportunity to show the benefits of Falun Dafa and expose the persecution of practice by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).

When the curtain opened, the host said the Falun Gong Organization would present first. The students who had seen last year's performance proclaimed, "Falun Dafa is great!" and started clapping. New students were curious to find out about the performance.
The Falun Gong practitioners first showed how, before the persecution was launched, people in mainland China were free to study the Fa and do the exercises. The audience applauded the exercise demonstration. It gave new students an idea of the Falun Gong exercises. A narrator told the audience that Falun Gong was introduced to the public by Mr. Li Hongzhi in 1992, that a hundred million people joined the cultivation within a few years, and that practitioners have to cultivate their xinxing besides doing exercises to benefit.
The narrator explained that the head of the CCP, Jiang Zemin, personally launched the persecution of Falun Gong and implemented a genocidal policy to "Destroy their reputations, bankrupt them, and eliminate them physically." Students performed a scene of an elderly gentleman appealing for Falun Gong on Tiananmen Square. He said, "Falun Dafa is great! The Canadians know. The Americans know. The world knows. Only the Chinese don't. I used to have many diseases. They were cured after I practiced Falun Gong. It saved medical expenses for our nation. Why can't I continue? There is nothing wrong with practicing Falun Gong. It teaches us to cultivate our hearts and virtue. There is nothing wrong with practicing Falun Gong and being a good person." The policeman beat him and responded coldly, "What exercise? The government doesn't allow it! You can't practice Falun Gong even if you die from your diseases! The CCP doesn't allow you to tell the truth or be good."
During the first scene transition, the narrator slowly read aloud the lyrics of a song written by a Falun Gong practitioner, "Tiananmen Square, Please Tell Me." During the second scene transition, an English song "Why Are We Here?" was played with narration in Chinese. The sincere, heartfelt plea gave the audience much to think about.

The scene went back to the exercises. It showed that the persecution didn't wipe out Falun Gong as the authorities expected. Instead, the practice spread to dozens of other countries. The narrator told everyone to remember, "Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance is great. Falun Dafa is great!" He wished everyone a bright future. The students in audience cried, "Falun Dafa is great!"
Students in Taiwan can proclaim from the bottom of their hearts, "Falun Dafa is great!" In sharp contrast, the students who practice Falun Gong in mainland China are deprived of this opportunity. The students who are deceived by the CCP assist the authorities in slandering Falun Dafa. The distortion of their spirits is very saddening.
