I Am So Grateful to Teacher for Saving My Life

(Clearwisdom.net) Although I had heard about Falun Gong in 1997, I did not start practicing until 2007. It was because of the Chinese Communist regime's false propaganda that I had some misunderstandings toward Falun Gong.

In 2007 and only 25 years old, I suffered from many health problems that included hypothyroidism, chronic headaches, sore throat, hoarse voice, swollen feet, protrusion of the eyes and lack of energy that made it difficult to walk. As a result, I was unable to lead a normal life.

My aunt practices Falun Gong. She was very concerned for me. She kindly mentioned that I should learn Falun Gong and advised me to quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) organizations. I told her I would practice, but I still didn't completely believe in Falun Gong. I had the attitude of waiting to see first. This was because I was brought up under the CCP's vicious and twisted education. However, after reading Zhuan Falun and truth-clarification materials, I realized the true nature of the CCP and that everything it said were all lies. So I withdrew from the three organizations of the CCP.

I then embarked on my journey of practicing Falun Gong. I learned the five sets of exercises and read Zhuan Falun wholeheartedly every day. When I did the exercises for the first time, I looked pale and my body shook. I had to stop and rest before continuing with the exercises. The next morning when I did the exercises again, I felt great--I didn't shake or look pale. After I finished doing the exercises, I felt relaxed and did not feel tired at all. As I continued to do the exercises, my insomnia disappeared. Falun Dafa is truly great!

A week later, I had a high fever all of a sudden. I wasn't worried because I knew Teacher was getting rid of karma for me. I didn't pay too much attention to it. My aunt came to see me and helped to send forth righteous thoughts to eliminate the CCP's evil specter. I was unmoved even though I was not able to talk or eat, and had diarrhea and the shivers. On the fourth night, my aunt, out of the blue asked me to say three times, "Void all the agreements I made with the old forces." On the morning of the fifth day, my fever was gone.

Soon after, all of my other illnesses also disappeared, and I felt a complete sense of relief. My whole family witnessed the greatness of Falun Dafa. We sincerely thank Teacher for saving my life.

A school teacher from Jilin Province was detained in a forced labor camp in 2000 because she practices Falun Gong. In order to try to force her to quit practicing Falun Gong, she was forced to do slave labor, and was also subjected to brainwashing. As a result of the continuous persecution, she developed breast cancer.

Soon after her release in September 2001, this practitioner was again arrested by the provincial public security police. During their interrogation, the police used electric batons to hit her breast. She was severely tortured day and night for a long period of time. As a result, she became emaciated and the cancer in her breast quickly spread. She became unrecognizable.

Six months later, this teacher was diagnosed at the provincial cancer hospital as having late stage breast cancer. She was told that she had about eight to ten days to live. Only under such circumstance did the labor camp release her on medical bail because they didn't want to be responsible for her death.

At home, she decided to continue practicing Falun Gong since the hospitals couldn't cure her disease. A month later, she gained 20 pounds and the swollen areas underneath and around her armpits subsided.

She eventually gained another 45 pounds and was fully recovered without taking any medication. She would tell everyone she met, "I was the one the hospital sentenced to death. I am still alive today because of Falun Dafa. Falun Dafa saved my life."
