Eighty-year-old Woman's Lung Cancer Disappears, and Other Miracles of Dafa

My mother-in-law is in her eighties and lives in a suburb of Beijing. She was seriously ill last October, and was diagnosed with lung cancer in the county hospital. The doctor said that the cancer was in its late stage, and it had metastasized. She was hospitalized for over ten days. Every day she took medicine and received injections and infusions. Family members took turns taking care of her. But her condition worsened. The doctor finally told her children that her cancer was already in the late-stage and she was very old. It was hard to predict, but the doctor thought she could live three to four months at most. After she gets home, he said to give her whatever food she wants. The doctor implied that there was no cure, and we just needed to prepare for her funeral.

Her children are all farmers. They needed to borrow money even for their children's tuition. They could not afford such expensive medical treatments. Therefore they went home and prepared for her funeral.

Upon returning home, she often coughed blood and had pain in her chest and abdomen. Since there was no treatment for the cancer, they could only give her some painkillers, which did not work for her. Everyone in the village knew that she had incurable cancer and came to visit her. Although they didn't say much, they all knew that she would not live long.

As a Dafa practitioner I often visited her with my wife. Every time I would clarify the truth to her. I also taught her to recite silently "Falun Dafa is good", "Zhen Shan Ren is good". My intention was that she could know the truth before she passed away.

However, a miracle happened! She gradually could sit up and get to the floor. She could eat more and had less pain. Five months later, all of her symptoms disappeared. She had not taken any medicine, received injections or infusions for over ten months-- since last October. It has been way beyond the deadline the doctor had predicted. In recent months, she could even play cards with other senior villagers. She could play for over two hours. There was no sign of illness and she looks as sound as before.

The whole family now knows that it was Falun Dafa that saved her life. We are all grateful for Dafa and to Teacher. They all say, "Falun Dafa is good!" "Zhen Shan Ren is good!"

I am from Zhengzhou. Before I practiced Falun Gong I suffered from all kinds of diseases. My blood pressure was high, and I always had to take medicine. Since obtaining the Fa in March of 1999, my spirit was purified and my health improved dramatically. After witnessing my changes, all my children supported my practice of Falun Dafa.

My second daughter fell from a balcony six year ago. She had to undergo a major vertebra surgery twice. The doctor said that it would be very difficult for her to give birth. Later she saw Falun Dafa materials at her door that said if one sincerely recites, "Falun Dafa is good", "Zhen Shan Ren is good", he would be paid back with kindness. She then remembered the words and recited them sincerely. Last year, she got pregnant. She knew that it was because she benefited from reciting "Falun Dafa is good."

Three months into her pregnancy, she found out it was twins. The doctor told her that her condition was dangerous and she needed to rest in bed, as she had a very high chance of miscarriage. In addition, because she is allergic to anesthesia during her two major vertebra surgeries, her life could be in danger if she had a cesarean delivery.

My daughter did not worry too much about it. She asked me to give her one copy of Zhuan Falun. She read it whenever she had time. Through studying the Fa, her character as well as her health improved. She safely went through her pregnancy.

This March, when the due date was approaching, the doctor told her that she could not deliver naturally and could only choose cesarean. For my daughter, who is allergic to anesthesia, it was a test of life and death. During the operation, my daughter kept reciting, "Falun Dafa is good"; "Zhen Shan Ren is good". She finally gave birth to twin boys. All the doctors said that it was a medical miracle. They all came to see the wonder of Dafa through this incident.

During harvest season this year, my sister and her family were transporting crops with the farm tractor in the road. In the evening, a big truck drove by at a very high speed. For some reason the truck hit the tractor driven by my brother-in-law. The tractor was shredded into two pieces, flying apart and landing twenty meters away.

In the tractor, my brother-in-law was thrown twenty meters away. He was stunned when he managed to crawl out of the tractor. He had blood all over. He quickly realized that his child was sitting in the back and was gone. He shouted, "Where is my child?" People found him on the other side of the road. He was unconscious.

At that time, my sister took her child and called his name. He remained unconscious. My sister thought only Falun Dafa can save his life! She then said time after time next to her child, "Falun Dafa is good! Falun Dafa is good! Compassionate Teacher please save my child!" Five minutes later, her child awakened. He asked, "Mom, where am I?"

My sister stopped a van, and sent her husband and son to the village clinic. The doctor dared not accept them upon seeing that they were so seriously injured. She then sent them to the county hospital but again they refused to accept them. She had to send them to the city hospital. Finally by the time they arrived the city hospital, three hours had passed since the accident. The doctor diagnosed that her husband's back was seriously abrades and the muscles were exposed, and one front rib was broken. Her son had a cut in the back of his head and had a minor concussion. His CT scan was normal. There were over ten wounds. His chin bone had fractures and his face was severely swollen. He spit blood frequently. What's more serious was that his back had a purple wound and his urine sample test had high level of blood and protein. It indicated that his kidney was injured. However, to his family and doctor's surprise, the ultrasound indicated that his kidneys were intact. Next day his urine test showed normal. He was released from the hospital in half a month. The doctor said that it was truly miraculous that he and his father could survive. (Note: this child withdrew from the Communist Youth League last October)

Many of my family members are Dafa practitioners. They witnessed the wonder of Dafa and felt the compassion and magnificence of Teacher. We cannot express our gratitude with words. The villagers who witnessed everything also learned the truth.
